What music do you play when having a D/s session. Artists, albums tracks or playlists

While the selection depends on the mood i want to create a few artists for me are:

Garbage
NIN
Velvet Underground
Portishead
Massive Attack
Angie (her cover of Venus in Furs is amazing)

If it’s a general session without role play theme I tend to play classical music, or movie scores (not soundtracks). Scores are generally non vocal background music and have a thematic cohesion and follow a nice rise and crescendo so tracks run into each next track almost seamlessly which is good for maintaining drama and tension in the scene especially when you don’t know how long it may go or don’t have the structure of a role-play pre-planned out.

I like the scores for Last Temptation of Christ, and the Twilight series specifically. Also really like some Ursine Volpine. For a general evil dominatrix vibe I pull out some Diamands Galas.

Pomp and Circumstance, I love it.
whipped to the beat and rhythm of the music. Especially if you listen and know when the whip is coming...and I love the formality of the tune, it makes the whipping seem so much more inevitable, sanctioned, deserved.

I’ll find something on YouTube from the ‘erotic music’ genre.
Sometimes tantric vibes.
