Seriously Paranoid About...

That's one of mine. I can function okay if I miss my Strattera for a day, but any longer than that and I get a little unbearable (for others!).

That's one of mine too. I have nightmares about running out of meds in a foreign country - it's pretty much my version of "Hostel"!

And dogs, I'm really afraid of dogs.

I also have these bad thoughts about the possibility of being found guilty of a murder (or other crime, though they are less) I never committed or even knew anything about. It has been a fear I have had most of my life an I have no idea where it came from.

OK, without trying to sound totally whacked(er), do you believe in past lives? Do you think it's possible that some of our fears stem from experiences that we've already had, but are unaware of?

Cat, I don't mean to hijack (I need to watch for that), it was your post that made me consider the question. But ignore it or turf it - your thread, your call. :)

LOL, most definately I believe in past lives and that life continues after death....there is just too much damned evidence of it from people who have died and been brought back to life, including children too young to have heard anything about it from elsewhere. I also believe that it is not a denominational place, accepting atheists, Buddhists, alongside Roman Catholics and Moslems which sort of makes our history and present day wars look dumb. I do tend to think for some there are feelings, fears, etc which may have been passed along, though perhaps it is not supposed to happen that way but just does for some. The whole area fascinates me. As I get older I become more certain there is a way events play out of which we have no control but can be sure will eventuate over time...I have in recent times come face to face with 2 such situations which were not planned, could not have been arranged to happen as they have, and until I mentioned it to a couple of family members had gone unnoticed, but now they too are overwhelmed by the cycles that have become reality.

I would like to explore this further, but this is not the place, right? I want to know things like:

1. Have you ever been hypnotised? Did it work?

2. What is the difference between past life stuff and the cycles we face in this life? Does anyone else have to go through the same repetitive cycles OVER & OVER again like I do?

More than anything else, I'm afraid of dying without learning .

Ah fuck it, I'm gonna stick with the crazy bitch persona. <grin.wink.smile>

I am certainly with you on your macro list. I also worry unnecessarily about money in old age which I think comes from my mother always telling us we have to make sure we have a rood over our heads and don't end up dying in poverty. We have made provisions for it, and these days I am responsible for our financial management with him checking when he feels like it, so though I get paranoid at times and make sure I put away every cent I can squirrel out, it is becoming a manageable level of concern most times. He is surprised with what I have done so far with his money. :cattail:

You sound so much like my mom and my sister - they are both careful and have always managed the family finances. I, on the other hand, need to learn how to be much more so, LOL. I think that this is the "big challenge" with which life and the universe is confronting me right now. Perhaps because ~D is also not so good, this will make it easier to "rise to the occasion once we move in together. :rose: Neon
