I'd be really interested to hear from anyone here who has experience of Speed Dating. It doesn't have to be first-hand experience, although that would be brilliant. If you know someone who's been to Speed Dating, or have more than a superficial knowledge of it, i'd love to hear from you.

Specifically, I'm interested in the mechanics (how the sessions are structured), and the "rating" technique used.

My RL job is designing biofeedback and stress monitoring technology (you know, heart rate, lie detectors and shit), and I'm looking at applications in social and recreational fields.

warning bell sounds and its time for me to move on. i'd like to say i would continue this round of speed dating but seriously the smell of cabbabge and absinthe is a vague turn off. i think your chin would have been a fun ride.
