No shit, Sherlock. My point was, why would they contact you at all?

Your name wouldn't have shown up on any thread, just the main panel to show you are "online." There are thousands of people signed up as members who never post. Many just read. I doubt many of them get PMs, much less get so many they have to have their very first post ever be a comment about the volume.
