Series stuck in moderation for over a month

I created a series on July 26, but it never "Published". Today the second story was published (with no problems, thank you, Laurel), and I realized that the series was still awaiting moderation.

I just edited the "Note" because it was about this story not being published yet.

Is this one for Manu or Laurel or ... ?

The Series "approval" function is a bit odd. I don't think you get advice it's approved, but you find one day, it just is. It's not foolproof either. I've got one group of stories show correctly as part of a series, but one chapter also stands on its own. I couldn't be bothered trying to fix it.

It might also be a "wait twenty-four hours" thing. If you look at the Series date, it looks to me that they're generated frequently.

My other series was approved "as expected" though.

I mean, it's beta software, but as a beta tester I think bug reports are useful.

Same issue here. I have two series, one stuck awaiting approval for ten days so far. The second, nearly as long. The way they're named is kind of tedious as it stands currently (Pt. #, Name, Ch. #). It seems weird when not under the series name. Like a book with no cover.

So that's at least one other person with the problem, thanks, @DCZStorytime.

I modified the series and re-published it, and nothing overnight. Also, now my comments seem to be held, I posted two to my newest story (answering reader comments) and neither was actually published. One of the readers actually got two comments published, and mine are stuck.

I hate to bug staff, but I think I need to say, @Manu, what can I do to help you debug this problem (or these problems)?

Similar issue here - series waiting since the 25th of last month for a moderator, same with an avatar picture as well.

I see people casually say, "Oh well that sometimes takes a month..." and I just goldfish at how casual that sounds.

I deleted the never-approved series, since the stories involved all start with the same two words. I was hoping the system would automatically create a series. Three days later, no.

I tried to create it again, but the system won't let me create a new series with the same name as the deleted one. I tried to create the series with a new name, but I can't add the two stories to the new series because the system thinks they're already in another series (that doesn't exist). @Manu?
