Moody floats behind Gillespie
“Swing Low, Sweet Cadillac”
My mood swings with each note
Memory’s of “Something Old, Something New”
Saunter in and out in rhythm
I recall dancing, “The Real Thing”
Slow, cheek to cheek, as “The Cool World”
Sped past us, as we smelled the roses
“The Melody Lingers On” even now
You have been gone six years yesterday
I still miss you

The names Moody and Gillespie should be bold italic, and the quoted titles should be bold

I posted this here because i dont know if the actual poem will post the same using the bold tags in the regular poem post or not. I am still new to this does anyone know?

You mean like that? The posting board direct post will handle "bold", Italic, Underline, font size, and Center Justify, much beyond that it gets confused. If Laural really loves you she might be able to do a little more for you if you upload the file to her, but that will delay the time of posting. :)

In the submission form, you should use regular html tags:

<B><I>Moody</I></B> floats behind <B><I>Gillespie</I></B>
<B>Swing Low, Sweet Cadillac</B>
My mood swings with each note
Memory’s of <B>Something Old, Something New</B>
Saunter in and out in rhythm
I recall dancing, <B>The Real Thing</B>
Slow, cheek to cheek, as <B>The Cool World</B>
Sped past us, as we smelled the roses
<B>The Melody Lingers On</B> even now
You have been gone six years yesterday
I still miss you

And if you want to insert consecutive spaces, like I think you wanted to do in the last verse, you should use & nbsp; (without the space between & and nbsp

In the boards you must use [whatever code] instead of <whatever code> for bold, italic and underlined text ;)

In here, yes you do need to count. Use the preview button before posting.

On the submission form, you can just center justify the whole thing. I don't recall what's the html code, but if Rybka isn't around anymore I could find out...

The HTML code for centering is:

<P ALIGN="CENTER">
right justify substitutes "RIGHT" for "CENTER" - (the quotation marks should be included.) - The end is the same but includes a slash before the command "ALIGN". i.e. </ALIGN> - The ""RIGHT"" or ""CENTER"" are not included in the stop command.

The easiest way to do it is to write it in Word and save it as a HTML file, then use the "view HTML" option and then cut and paste. You will need to use the & NBS" (= and No Back space) command to fine tune your spacing. (Thanks L.H.)
