It first screams 'foot fetish', something I would rather read than write.

another variation might be the 'straight' young woman who wears nothing but sensible shoes and dark hose rather than stilletto heels with seamed stockings...

other ideas?

i think that if you take "sensible shoes" as a metaphor for someone doing the vanilla thing, you get into an interesting place (potentially) when someone takes her shoes off and/or lets her hair down. now, while that leads to the already-done-to-death transformation story of sweet and virginal to debauched, it could also reflect other jekyll/hyde divisions in a person's psyche: e.g., vanilla --> BDSM, straight --> gay, etc.

in that instance, then, you can expand it dramatically into any kind of erotica work that explores duality.

It might work to combine the two plots...have the sensible shoe/vanilla girl taken shopping by her wild friend for a pair of special occasion shoes. The attention from the salesman, the fondling of the calves, the look of her legs in the shoes, leads to an opening of her reality....
