I have been using a file sharing site to send video files to a few people, but it's slow, annoying, and there has to be a better way. The videos range in length from 30 seconds to 90 minutes, and I do try to make large files as small as possible. I know I can't email them - I've tried that with more than one email provider. Any suggestions? They are not videos I want to be public, obviously!

Thanks

I just use yahoo mail. Although you can only send files up to 25Mb, it has an application called Yousendit for sending files up to 100Mb. If I have big files, I will try to video edit them first to get them don to that size.

But I'm sure there's a better way.

Cheers !

I've always used YouSendIt (it allows up to 2GB free, actually) or similar sites for sending large files in the past, and it's always worked extremely well for me.

My husband uses Dropbox a lot for storing photos and such, and apparently you can put files in a shareable folder, then email people a link to that file or folder. Dropbox gives you 2GB of storage off the bat for free, and you can get extra storage by doing tasks (like taking the site tour) and referring others to the site, for a potential total of 8GB. So, as long as your file is less than your total storage quota, you'd be good. You could upload a file, have someone download it, then take it down to conserve space.

Thank you very much, Erika, I think this ought to work.
