There already are such things. In the Book of Enoch, they were called 'gegenes' - generate themselves/uni-gendered - and in some fairly rare ancient Greek philosophy texts as well as the later Arabic ones drawn from the Greek, there is a concept called 'the syzygos' which DOESN'T mean 'married' (as Wiki claims) but boy/girl (male/female) identity (only ONE identity) 'yoked together' throughout time and space.

The Sanskrit Upanishads also has the same thing - 'thali.' And there is a deity in India with those same characteristics, known as 'Tara/Tarini.'

Personally I am persuaded of the reality of such things.

As far as 'sex' is concerned you'd have to think the question resolves in the first basic one: are YOU any good at sex, and if you ARE, you might reasonably conclude that your 'syzygos' would have matching capabilities. And if you are not, well...
