Selective Abortion? (to reduce the number of males)

Birthrates have flatlined in the US and it's only immigration that keeps us just barely into growth territory.

In about ten years that growth is expected to fall to merely replacement levels. After that the population will begin falling just like it has in many other nations. Russia, Korea, Japan, even India, to name a few.

Fewer people is better. But I think we can do better than that even.

Alongside it's clear that society, and especially women, have decided about 80% of males are not necessary. Superfluous. Oh, they can work and move money around, but most aren't going to ever raise a family. About 30% under 30 are virgins and / or have never had a girlfriend. Many won't ever own a home or be very successful financially. (Which is a struggle for everyone) Generally, women don't need a man anymore. They have other women and the State to support them and children.

At the same time the men, especially young men, are the ones performing most of the violence in society. Against women and each other. They're also doing most of the illegal drugs, selling illegal drugs, DUI crashing, suiciding, risk taking, etc.

Think about how much safer society would be with fewer young males? Males who for the most part have little to hope for these days?

I think we need a movement to selectively abort males as soon as sex can be determined, preferably before 12-15 weeks. I think it can be determined with a blood test by 8-10 weeks. Not all, of course. But I think adjusting the ratio would be beneficial. (20% men, 80% women being the ideal, perhaps)

Impossible. You have to wait for them to be born and be old enough to self identify as a man or woman.

And I'm fairly sure there will be a strong bias to identify in one direction, if the other direction means execution.

Besides, even if the population drastically dropped, people aren't going to start compacting into smaller areas. They will continue to be spread out over larger ones, and that will continue to need such infrastructure on a massive scale.

Japan and South Korea are geographically smaller than the United States. Do you not understand this? Smaller populations in larger areas won't mean a lesser need for infrastructure. As for my avatar, that's a long story. My ideal is a utopian socialist model, in which people live in small communes, but would still need infrastructure to connect to other such communes. That's an ideal. Next to that, short of that, I favor distributism. That would require substantial infrastructure. Also, the impact of the declining populations won't fully be felt for a while. Much less in the United States for a while, unless the mass deportations occur, which would be a bad thing. The mass migration is the one thing keeping the USA's replacement levels above that of the rest of the developed world. That's especially true when one considers that many of the immigrants are keen on reproducing and starting families and are more law-abiding than many who are born here.
