Selecting a candidate on the basis of electability

We have a party in the United States, the Republican party, that was influenced by something called the Buckley Priciple, named for William F, which states that support should be given to the most conservative candidate who also possesses a chance of being elected. Sounds similar in a few ways to your country.

That's no way to run a party.

That's the drawback of a republic and a two party system. It elects yahoos and local cronies to the general assembly and milquetoast to the presidency. Dont hate the playas, hate the game.

Be crass: it's all about who can raise the most money.

The Golden Rule.

Cicero was a smarmy politician.
