So this is going to be a thread based off of a manga/anime show called Sekirei. It takes place in Tokyo in the year 2020. The basic layout is that a company has pretty much bought and taken over Tokyo and possibly all of Jaban. They have also allowed 108 super powerful things to join the people of the city. They are called Sekirei and the company is running what is called "Sekirei Plan" where the Sekirei fight until there is only one left. These Sekirei are mostly hot women with big chests or in the rare occasion, a good looking male. These Sekirei get stronger when they find a special human with genes that can "wing" them. Usually through a kiss. Once they find these people they become much stronger. The human is called the Sekirei's "Ashikabi". The Ashikabi who is connected to the last Sekirei gets to "ascend" and be with their Sekirei forever.
Instead of type out all the info on the characters I will simply copy and paste from Wikipedia. So, here it is.
Plot
Minato Sahashi has failed the college entrance exam twice, is awkward around women, and unemployed. Growing up, he could never stand up to his mother or little sister, a trend that continues to this day. In reality, Minato is extremely intelligent, yet his inability to cope under pressure results in his constant failure. As a result he has been branded an idiot and loser by many. One day, Minato meets a girl named Musubi, who literally falls from the sky.[1] Minato soon learns that he is an 'Ashikabi', humans with special genes that allows them to partner with 'Sekirei'. The Sekirei are 108 super-powered beings created by the mysterious MBI corporation. Made up of cute girls, buxom women, and bishōnen, the Sekirei fight in a dangerous and sometimes deadly competition called the 'Sekirei Plan'.[2] With the entire city of Tokyo as the battlefield, the Sekirei seek out those humans who are destined to become their Ashikabi partner. Minato soon learns that being the partner of a beautiful girl is not all fun and games, especially when he discovers that an Ashikabi can have more than one Sekirei partner, and that's where the real trouble starts.
Minato Sahashi (佐橋 皆人, Sahashi Minato?)

The main protagonist. Minato's known family consists of his mother and younger sister. Minato is extremely intelligent, yet due to his inability to cope under pressure has failed the college entrance exam twice. As a result he has been branded an idiot and loser. He met Musubi by a stroke of luck after failing the exam the second time while Musubi was being attacked. As a consequence of their meeting, Minato discovers that he is an 'Ashikabi', a person that can "wing" (ie. form a contract with) Sekirei.[3] This binds the Sekirei to him and allows them to use their full power in the elimination battle. By the end of the game's second stage, Minato has winged six Sekirei. He has a passive personality and is said to have gone along with what ever his mother and sister has said since childhood. Recent events in the story suggest that other Ashikabi consider Minato the strongest Ashikabi in the northern part of the city.
Musubi (結, Musubi? Sekirei #88)

The main heroine. Minato's first Sekirei. She met Minato when she fell out of the sky. After hearing Tsukiumi say that she is Minato's wife she decides that she is going to be his wife too.[4] She is very naive and often says things she does not understand, and is often the most 'childish' of Minato's Sekirei, even more so than Kusano. She also eats a lot (her name means rice ball). At times she has a ferocious bear appear behind her - the reason given is because she is Miya's disciple.[5] Her clothes always end up in tatters after every Sekirei battle. Musubi's ability is "power" (the most common ability between Sekirei), which gives her greatly enhanced strength. She is also a close range hand-to-hand fighter and wears sparring gloves.
Kusano (草野, Kusano? Sekirei #108)

Often referred to as 'Kū-chan', she is also known as the "Green Girl".[6] She is Minato's second Sekirei. She calls him Onii-chan (Japanese term of endearment for 'older brother'). She does not like fighting or quarrels and she can be seen stopping them when they start. She said that she wishes to be Minato's wife when she grows up.[7] Her ability is "life" or "growth", which she uses to control plants making them grow at accelerated rates and to enormous proportions.
Matsu (松, Matsu? Sekirei #2)

Matsu is a hacker that lives in a secret room of Izumo Inn. She becomes Minato's third Sekirei. Despite her high intellect, she is very perverse and often comes up with schemes related to 'experimenting' with Minato.[8] Matsu uses a vast network of satellites and spying devices to gather large amounts of information and has even succeeded in hacking the MBI mainframe computer.[9][10] As a result, she is being chased by MBI and lives in a secret room at the Inn. She refers to herself as the 'Wisdom' Sekirei, however, most call her the 'Shameless' Sekirei for her habit of using her resources to peep on people.[11] It has yet to be revealed if she has any special powers besides "intelligence".
Tsukiumi (月海, Tsukiumi? Sekirei #9)

Minato's fourth Sekirei. She first appears to him in a dream saying that she would kill him.[12] This was due to her desire to be the strongest, and demonstrate that Ashikabi were not necessary to win. However, when they finally met she was persuaded into becoming his Sekirei.[13] She says that she is Minato's legal wife and is very possessive of Minato. She is the most aggressive of Minato's Sekirei and has a very short temper. Throughout the story, Tsukiumi has had a one-sided rivalry with Homura, whom Tsukiumi considers her rival.[14] Tsukiumi later tells Miya that she still wants to be the strongest, but it is so she can be with Minato forever.[15] Tsukiumi's ability is "water" (derived from her name "umi" which means the sea)
Kazehana (風花, Kazehana? Sekirei #3)

Minato's fifth Sekirei. She first 'meets' Minato at the "Izumo Inn" when she stumbled into his bed in a drunken stupor. It has been hinted that she knows Minato's father. Despite Minato's lack of 'manliness', his concern and love for his Sekirei causes Kazehana to develop feelings for him and eventually becomes his Sekirei. Like Tsukiumi, Kazehana addresses herself as Minato's "wife". Kazehana normally has a very relaxed personality and often becomes very giddy when discussing matters of love. However, when she is serious she displays a lot of power and lets nobody, except the MBI Director and Miya, talk down to her. Kazehana's ability is "wind" (derived from her name "kaze" which means wind and "hana" which means flower).
Homura/Kagari (焔/篝, Homura/Kagari? Sekirei #6)

Minato's sixth Sekirei. The self-proclaimed 'Sekirei Guardian', he used to protect 'unwinged' Sekirei. Homura's power and gender are unstable; however, he continues to think and act as a male even after his body started becoming female (a process called feminization in the manga). He lives at Izumo Inn as 'Kagari', a popular host club entertainer and for a long time no one except Miya, Uzume, Matsu and Kazehana knew his secret identity. Homura began reacting to Minato after he came to the Inn, causing Homura great stress over his potential Ashikabi being male. He's later revealed to be Sekirei #6 and his ability is the basic element, "Fire". By the end of the second stage he was the last unwinged Sekirei. Homura then left Izumo Inn to go after the despised MBI Director in order to bring an end to the Sekirei game. However, he is attacked first by Akitsu and then by Uzume which were merely following the south and east's lords' orders to capture him. Homura attempted then to commit suicide by igniting his body with his own flames that once again have became unstable, just as Minato and his Sekirei arrive. Unable to accept Homura's will to sacrifice himself, Minato wings him after telling how much he means to everybody, saving his life, but triggering the Sekirei plan's third stage in the process. As of now Homura's gender hasn't stabilized yet
Miya Asami (浅間 美哉, Miya Asami? Asami Miya) Sekirei #1
Voiced by: Sayaka Ohara (drama CD, anime)

The landlady of Izumo Inn. She specializes in swordsmanship. Takehito, her husband and supposed Ashikabi, worked at MBI as a researcher, but supposedly died of reasons yet to be revealed. She states she never refuses anyone needing shelter; however, she prohibits fighting in her house. She trains both Musubi and Tsukiumi to help them win the Sekirei battle. When she is mad she appears to have a demon behind her. She's hinted to be the strongest Sekirei together with no.04 Karasuba. Her Sekirei 'winged mark' has not been shown as of yet. Due to her strength and reputation, she is known as the "Hannya of the North", and is considered the most fearsome sekirei in the whole capital city. She is in fact the pillar of strength of the northern area of the city.
Uzume (鈿女, Uzume? Sekirei #10)
Voiced by: Yū Kobayashi (drama CD), Hitomi Nabatame (anime)

She lives in Izumo Inn and her Ashikabi is a young ill girl whose name is Chiho; actually, she is being held hostage in the hospital and Uzume is then forced to fight under Higa Izumi (the east's lord). She covers herself during the "huntings" so everyone else refers to her as the "hire"(veil) Sekirei.
There are also many other characters and numerous males. They are just not the main characters in the comic. Just check out the wikipedia page for more info. It is long, so don't try reading it all at once. trust me on that.
So, I hope there is some interest in this. It is very common for Ashikabi and Sekirei to care about each other and even have sex. Tsukiumi even says at one point that it is up to the Ashikabi to decide if he wants to chare the same sheets. It is a great manga. It is sexy and funny and exciting. So, post in this OOC thread if you are interested.
I will play Minato so I would like someone to paly at least one of his Sekirei. just remember, one of the 6 is a guy, so I wouldn't play with him in the SRP sense, and Ku-chan is a child. Even though she loves Minato, she is not allowed to play in the SRP sense.
