I'm honestly not sure if this is the right place for this sort of post. If not, please do let me know and I'll adjust accordingly.
Anyway, I am 11 chapters into a story The Reawakening of Dr. Clark and have been hitting rough spots here and there. I think this is, at least in part, because I am moving the story from the pure fantasy (sex everywhere, crazy, dirty, creative) phase to the "now things get complicated" phase. Having never been a teen girl of any sort or involved in an affair of any kind, I'm sort of psyching myself out about writing the female lead, Mallory. She's obviously a fantasy object who could (mostly) only exist on the page but to work the complicated angle, her thoughts, feelings, etc need to feel at least somewhat real.
Okay, rambling preamble done. With this in mind, I am hoping to pick the brains of women (let's say between 18 and 30 at the time of affair starting) who have or are currently involved with older married men (10 or more years older). Preferably the men would've been in some position of power (boss, teacher, mentor, etc) but that's not required.
Questions will be general and not actually sexual in nature (Ex's: Was it a lark or did you have serious feelings for the man? Did you envision the two of you eventually being together and the wife being forced out? Was the attraction mental/social, physical, or some combination therein? and so on.).
Specific responses will not be used in the stories, only the idea of them. For instance, if you tell me that he was your dentist, it started as a one off thing but you fell hard and it ended when you sent the wife a detailed journal and several pictures of the two of you together, you'll never that specific set of details together in any chapter. I might, however, tap into that feeling of getting in over your head in love and doing something destructive to the marriage that would hang the husband out to dry when it became clear he was not leaving his wife and family.
If you have any interest in helping me out, I thank you in advance and do ask you PM me. To be clear, I am not seeking to ask you to share detailed accounts of sexual encounters or anything of the sort. It'll just be a questionaire and possible one round of follow ups if necessary. If you initially volunteer, see the questionaire and decide against, cool. If you fill out the questionaire but do not wish to answer follow ups, more than ok.
