Is that even possible? Yeah, for initial and casual chat, but long term? I think you may be limiting yourself. Just my opinion.

I've never used Snap Chat, but I've used Kik. It's nice for quick conversations, but that's about it from what I've used it for. They may be a nice way to start, but if your conversations look to get more personal and in depth (or long term, however you want to define it), I think you need something to allow you and the other person to communicate with, be it Skype or Hangouts or whatever. You can voice chat or go visual with them. I personally like Hangouts myself, but that's my personal preference. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for in a hook-up with someone. Then again, maybe I'm just blowing smoke out of my ass.
