Seeking Shaven Pole

Exactly. Like I said, K prefers it shaved, but I'd shave even if I was single, cause it's flat out NASTY otherwise. How in the world are you expected to keep clean with all that hair? And it's worse at that time of the month! *shudders* Ick.

I remember reading "The Joy of Sex" and Alex Comfort doesn't believe in shaving off any body hair......I was shaving my armpits at 13 and my legs at 16, but never thought of shaving anywhere else before a couple of years or so ago. I don't think I'd let it grow back now, as has been said it's much easier to keep clean and I like the feel of fingers and toys and tongue on bare skin

Well, the guy I'm seeing has a thing about body hair. He hates for a woman to shave her pubes. He likes the feel of a full bush of pubic hair. I'm not complaining. He likes it, it's certainly easier for me, so it's a win-win situation.

In my experience, this whole preference for shaving seems to be age based in general. Most of the men I've discussed this with who wanted me to shave, were younger than 40. The ones who thought I should leave my pubic hair natural or trimmed at most were over 40. Just an observation.

I don't see myself being pro-body hair ever, even when I'm 90 :p

LOL Yeah, but you're from a different generation. At least when you're 90, you guys won't have as much to shave. It will mostly have fallen out by then. :p

Oops! I mean, shaving poll. Specifically what men prefer, or input from females regarding comments from previous and/or current partners.

And no, I'm not talking armpits, legs, head, or facial, so that ought to save all you comedian types some typing. ;)

There is a serious personal reason for this thread, so feedback greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.
You know, I really don't have a choice, when I think about it. Oh, I guess a nicely groomed patch is OK, and also clean shaven is, too. And, the natural look is fine, too. See how easy I am?

But, there is one thing I will always require and always look for. If I'm going to go there (or my little buddy), it must be clean. Is that too much to ask?

I prefer all of my partners to be completely hairless (male or female) especially if they are bottoms to my Top. There is just something about feeling soft skin beneath my fingertips that drives me utterly wild. As for myself..I am completely hairless except for the hair on my head...feels so much better.

I would prefer trimmed or shaved, but honestly, I don't much like doing that myself. I've tried depilatory creams, which worked all right but didn't last long and are rather expensive to purchase so often. I've shaved a few times and been in agony for the next few days. People who shave, do you have any really good lotion recommendations? I'm also considering my first wax (and how to get what I want in French!). Thoughts? I don't want to be completely hairless, but when I've been depilatoried (well, you know what I mean), I really liked the look and feel of things down there.

I know there are millions of other threads on this, and to my credit, I have read most of them :D I just have problems making up my mind.

Master is 52 and prefers the clean shaven look :p An older friend (55 when we were seeing each other) preferred the landing strip, a younger one (43) had no preference but was intrigued by the strip I had at the time, he'd never been with anyone who shaved before :D

Well, there goes that theory. LOL The guys I've talked to who liked hair were: 45, 48, 54, 62, 59.

I tried the creams too but I hate waiting around for 10 minutes for them to work  Plus they didn't seem to get it all and I'd have to run around with a razor anyway! I use a men's Mach 3 razor every couple of days in the shower, I've been doing it for over a year now and it only takes a couple of minutes. I don't use it to shave anywhere else, I use disposables for my legs and underarms.

When I first started doing it I had some ingrown hairs and it was a bit red and itchy, but with perseverance and a little body moisturiser it all settled in a couple of months. I didn't use anything special, I think it was a Nivea brand that I used but can't be sure :)

*NOT enthused with the idea of waxing - I get my eyebrows done and that hurts like a bitch!* I guess I'm not that kind of a masochist! ;)

I guess this means I can finally shake off the cobwebs.

Full bush. Trim along the edges if you like and off the thighs if necessary. But leave the full shape and growth all the way to the ass.

I thought you knew by now...I prefer a clean body and a filthy mind. Now, if your body is clean, I can take care of the rest.

too much hair or too little draws overmuch attention to that vile organ, the wellspring of all mans woes. at best the vaginal orifice ought to be inconspicuous.

Shaved smooth, at all times ... ankles to hips.

Master preferes it that way, and i've learned to enjoy it as well. At first, as soon as the stubble would start to appear, it would itch badly. It really sucks when the itching occurs, especially when at work or otherwise in public. There is nothing worse than having an itchy mound while in public and needing to scratch!

i use a disposable razor mostly (full wax during the warmer months). First i slather on conditioner and let it soak a few minutes to soften the stubble. i shave in an upward direction from the anus to clit. Above the clit, i first shave from left to right, and then again from right to left. Anywhere on the body, the hair grows in multiple directions and shaving in one direction doesn't produce totally smooth results otherwise. i use a very good moisterizer applied generously from ankles to hips. Walmart sells a cheaper generic type alternative version of Eucerin, Equate brand face and body moisterizer has the same main ingredients and works just as well . The Equate brand lotion comes in a huge tub shaped container for half the price. i finally figured out why it starts to itch though (for myself anyway). As soon as stubble appears, it catches on, and is lifted and scraped or pulled by any cloth (panties, jeans etc) making contact with the stubble. i switched from wearing lacy panties to polyester 'boy shorties'. i haven't scratched since.

I have been smooth shaven for years. My Domme prefers this and I am not allowed to have any hair below my hips whatsoever. I am very glad for this rule...I cannot stand pubic hair on other women (don't care about on men) and as far as being physically pleasurable to look at, I think landing strips and whatnot look strange and my Domme hates them...Im not even allowed to consider it. It's bare all the way for me!

I use a variety of razors to help keep myself smooth as possible and I rarely have irritations. I use the intuition shaver to get all the stuff above my lips if I let it go a few days without shaving and its longer than norm...the surrounding "soap" bar gets most of the really bad stubble with little irritation. Then I use a Mach3 for the rest. I don't use shaving creams...I find they do nothing productive at all. I usually use a bit of conditioner or shampoo and lather up that way. After I am completely dry, I use baby powder and the Body Bare shaver to get a 100% smooth shave. If you are bare and don't have this shaver, you are missing out big time. It is a bit pricey at $60, but it is a dry shaver (using LOTS of baby powder is a MUST) and it only works on stubble, so I used it to maintain between shaves. Keeps me baby-bottom smooth.

I never did understand the concept of being reminded of young children when shaved smooth. Why the hell is anyone even thinking about that concept in the first place? I shave my legs and armpits and I don't remind myself of a young girl...what's the difference to go one step further? Odd...
