I'm posting to ask for a volunteer or two to read through a story draft and give me a sense of whether it's ready to submit or whether it could benefit from specific fixes before sending to Lit. For example, awkwardness of phrasing, unclear description, need for a bit more establishing of characters, pace and level of detail (too long a start? not enough in the "action" section? didn't follow through enough on something?).
This is my first time through the process, so I thought I would ask for a look before I submit. I'm open to comments from more than one person if there is interest. Let me know if it does or does not work for you if I might be redrafting due to more than one person's feedback at a time.

I was inspired by the Lord of the Rings chain stories on Literotica to take my own swing at charging up some scenes. I notice the LotR "chain" submissions actually spans several years, so perhaps it would be open to another one.
My plan, unless it changes based on suggestions or comments, is to submit the story as a contribution to the LotR chain. My draft seems longer than most of the chain, and perhaps takes longer to get to the more specifically sexual scenes.

Draft story length and format: 3000 words plain text. Could re-save as RTF if that would be more useful for the reader.
Spelling note: Used UK standard for "colour", "travellers" as in original.
Activities/themes: all characters are Tolkien hobbits; heterosexual consensual sex, infidelity, older female/younger male (a bit), reminiscing re first time, voyeurism via ring of invisibility, mild male/male activity (pissing contest) and implied bisexuality, bedroom farce (husband walks in / hiding under bed), mushrooms as aphrodisiacs.

Summary: The story follows a day early in Tolkien's Fellowship of the Ring. Frodo, Pippin, and Sam emerge from a short-cut at the land of Farmer Maggot. Frodo fears Maggot's dogs from when he was a young hobbit stealing mushrooms, but Pippin convinces him to stop. Farmer Maggot welcomes them and volunteers them a wagon-ride to the ferry at the end of the day. In the meantime, they have time to dry off, warm up, and get frisky during the afternoon.
Follow-On: Not in this draft, but an obvious follow-on is Frodo's arrival at his new home where there's a boisterous scene in the bath followed by a mushroom supper. All the characters at Frodo's house are male, so it seems a logical break point given readers' tastes and the length of the story.
