I think there are more nice guys out there than it might appear.

And as for the nice girls ending up with the asses, well it seems that despite what the nice girls say - they actually like the bad guys better - until it comes time to settle down.

few and far between, nice to know they really exist. As for the bad guys, they have their uses, sometimes they can also turn out to be good guys in disguise.

i'm sure there are plenty of reasons why 'bad guys' have a charm and have redeeming qualities, but it's so discouraging to the guys who always try to do the right thing and respect women when they see girls clinging to guys who don't treat them well. I suspect the same is true with nice-guys and bad-girls though, it's just a less-observable phenomenon.

In any case, nice people are fun to talk with, so i'm really glad you guys responded to this post

Nice people are fun to talk with. It's a shame our society is so oriented on looks. A lot of nice women get looked over too because they don't look like they would be any fun or aren't pretty enough or skinny enough. Then there are the pretty women who can't find anyone because guys are afraid to approach her or think that she has someone already or they look too innocent. I know someone like that and she's really sweet, but she's not "bad" enough so guys don't approach her. It's sad really. It's a double edged sword my dear.
