I see its getting the typical reaction from the usual suspects.

So don't worry about the score. The category is filled with men so insecure they bash fictional cheating and make believe women, and when a woman writes it? Its even worse.

Look for the decent comments and feedback, ignore the spew and file it under look at the source because its an ugly one.

For example I see you received the typical rude-with no actual feedback-comment from uber troll 26thNC. Take anything he says negative as an actual positive. You piss him off its because you're writing your story, not the "all men good all women evil' story he wants.

A little advice, and take this as just that not a "have to". Don't respond and engage with every single comment, especially bad ones. Don't ask them what you should do better. You're the author, this is your story and what they are doing is trashing you not offering anything of substance. Don't give in to their bullshit. Be confident and ignore them. Let them make themselves look like what they are; insignificant petty people.

I'm going to give this a read and I'll post some thoughts here. I won't comment because a comment from me in that category is the kiss of death. They hate me there.

To be honest, I missed this story because I generally skip anything that rates lower than a 3.5. Before I read, I need to ask, what is NTR? I've read and written in LW for years and am unfamiliar with that acronym.

Anyways to answer your question, which is a good question to ask, NTR stands for Netorare, which is genre that originated in Japanese adult entertainment, etc. Basically it's about slow corruption of a girlfriend, wife, etc by an outsider, this story has some subversion however.

I though ti was another name for anime which my daughter and granddaughters loved. you could hear the room freeze, Do you know what you said? They asked. It was a word that actually means perv or State what mean. eliminate all the other obscure tags most people are not going to follow..

I was just repying, that a tag like' slowburn' is not something anyone would look for. A developing story is just that. But nobody is going to look for one that is tagged that way. Just tell you story. Make it interesting enough to draw, catch and retain interest and you have something.. Don't put your hook in the third submission. Few will get that far.

Thank you, yes I suppose it's appropriate for the first entry alone. I established this in my first entry, so it would set some expectations for potential readers, but yes, like no reason to reiterate on my end.
