The tattoo on the left, extends from just above the collar bone, down to approximately 1/5 th of the top of the breast of same side. It depicts a queen bee resting on a honeycomb which is accented with a floral display, the species of which I am not familiar, as I believe the artist to have simply freestyled something that looked pretty at the time. (As I did not have to pay for this, I was quite satisfied with whatever he chose to draw...)
My decision for the Queen Bee and comb was not, as perhaps assumed by many, that I consider myself a Queen, rather I keep a few hives in my yard , and therefore it is my love of the little pollinators that drove that decision.

The tattoo on the left is of a Treble clef, fashioned from a rooting vine that terminates into a single, red rose in the center. It travels just beneath the collar bone and descends below the top of the right breast and wraps slightly around.

The treble clef is the music my father raised me up in, grounded me to, so to speak, and the rose for my mother. Both passed away before they should have. "

I need to add to it something for my Nana, as well as my boys. I haven't decided what best symbolizes each, so I haven't put it to ink, yet....

And, no, those aren't the only two I have...
