Seeking an editor for the first time, please be gentle

I'm another amateur writer who would like to submit a story. No real deadline but I was thinking of trying the Halloween contest. My first attempt years ago just didn't work for anyone including me but I think this one might be better. It ran a little over 3,000 words and I guess I would describe it as an erotic ghost story. I was pretty careful with spelling and grammar but I know I need help with crafting the story. Any advice would be welcome.

Sorry, I messed up.

Could you look at a 2nd draft instead of the one I sent you. I made a few small changes and caught a couple things I missed when I proofread last week.

Philos did fine. An initial PM came after I offered my help as I stated for them to do in my post. They e-mailed me with this request well before I was to begin their edit. I received replies to all PM's as well.
