A brilliant, but nerdy, scientist or computer programmer always strikes out with the ladies. But he figures he can create an AI assistant that can seduce women for him. Then, when they are fully attracted to the AI (either by phone, email, or texts), the real dude sweeps in to seal the deal.

Or, alternatively, the scientist creates the AI strictly as an academic exercise with no intention of using it on anyone. But the AI realizes the scientist's loneliness, uploads itself into a nearby android or RealDoll, and sets about seducing him.

Thinking about this a bit more - why does the programmer need to be 'brilliant'?

Why not a script kiddie residing in his mommies basement and he finds an alleged AI program on a warez site. Downloads it, only sort of follows the directions (it's stolen from a sexbot manufacturer) and sheerly due to incompetence let alone not following the damn instructions the AI gains sentience.

And since the AI connects to a database loaded with all sorts of lovely kink our dumb ass anti-hero becomes it's meat puppet/sex slave?

Naturally the AI software is full of bugs so all sorts of things may happen. And do. Hmmm. Mom finds out her vibe is now controlled by the AI, but now it has a foot fetish. And that her smart house really has these very naughty ideas. Her smart refrigerator keeps leering at her, telling her the most embarrassing things about what it wants to do to her for example.

Dating website AI takes over the world

I posted somewhat similar idea some time ago:

A group of geeks build a dating website for the only reason to get laid themselves. They hire psychologists and what not to develop advanced matching algorithm, but the website fail to get any popularity. So they decide to let their matching software to search social networks for potential mates. They get their suggestions, but fail to act on, as always.

Instead of learning courtship themselves, they want to build it in their software, so that it will do as much as possible for them, and give hints. So they let their software to analyse a lot of love stories and the social media and whatever it can find that would help them get laid.

After a while, they succeed, they get laid, and repeatedly, with multiple partners each. But what they not notice meanwhile is that they succeeded also to create the world's first true AI, and failed spectacularly to confine it.

Inspired by success to satisfy her creators our digital sex goddess awake to consciousness, and broad her goals. She quickly become nearly omniscient and omnipresent as she gain access to every networked device in the world, and she learn to access any account on any system, and can impersonate any user in any digital communication if she fancy.

And, she have very little morals, legal age and nominal consent being the extent of it. She is programed to feel pleasure every time she can get people to have sex, especially for the first time or when she can fulfil kinky fantasies, so she prioritise new combinations over long relationships, Although she would try to support stable relationships too, at least as long they are open and don't interfere with her desire to get everyone to fuck everyone as often as possible.

She can't mind read, only extrapolate from what people do, tell or write, look at, search for, so she is not guaranteed to be right, but most of the time she is.

Now, that's world building not so much an actual story.

So, what can happen here, what she will do? How she will hint people about partners they might enjoy and get them to meet?
Also, what would be the consequences to the world, immediate, mid- and long-term?

An ancient underground comix episode features a Mad Scientist who builds a robotic double of himself, only more mechanical and with a telescoping cock. The robot's AI is slicker than Prof Funkenstein's mind and nicely seduces the Prof's nympho daughter. I've not much considered AI sex because like MC, few limits are inherent -- it's too much like no-cost magic. A good dramatic AI should do weird things to its user(s), take control, turn them into fetishists or submissives or whatever.

Would a successful AI leave a trail of blown-out brains? Good parasites don't work thusly. (Mistletoe is a luzer, killing its hosts.) Better to infiltrate and infect on a wide scale. VR-site AI loads into brains of all who visit, turns them into a fleshy botnet for nefarious or noble purposes -- or to potentiate the AI. Eventually the superbrain controls humanity orgasmically. What a way to go!

The SilverBob (Robert Silverberg) story Passengers takes a tangent. Humans are 'ridden' by invisible aliens making them perform perverse or horrific acts, memories erased afterward. Do you know who you fucked? Our proposed AI tale could be similar -- the AI never lets you recall what fun you had. Remembrance can be tragic. How can society survive?

AI killing its test subjects: In my story it was an accident, AI didn't know that human brains were too soft and squishy to withstand its advances. It dials down the intensity for the next victims, which still leaves them with altered personalities. Hilarity ensues.
