Roland sat in his big office, behind his big mahogany desk. His finger was tapping one of the folders that lay before him. ‘The Ravaging’ it read ‘a movie by Christian Mars, starring Adrian Stravinsky’.
Roland sipped his drink, finger stroking on the glazed fold of the dozier. It was an exclusive proposition, and something he had to get just right, the meeting tonight would make or break his world.
Then he looked over at the other folder, not as refined, thick paper, with a name on it ‘Juliana Moon’ and under it ‘secretary’. It was Juliana’s employment folder, contract, a photo, he looked at it, the closed it, sipped his drink again. This was just the occasion he had in mind when hiring her, he thought. She hadn’t been with them long, but his background check had been thorough. If he hadn’t got it all wrong, she was a promiscuous and single young lady that liked to party and could keep a secret. Juliana would be his key to settling this deal.
After finishing the drink, he put the folders away, and called her in. She was in the door in a blink, and he waved her inside, gestured for her to close behind her. She had the iPad ready for notes, stood by the side of his desk “Yes Mr. Langeweldt?”
“Put that down” he smiled, waving the iPad away “You’ll remember this”
And she did, holding the pad by her side, he saw her shapes, nice, curvy, with her very pretty face on top, he had made the right choice, he thought.
“Tonight at 9 there’s a very important meeting. I’m picking up two gentlemen on the helipad and bringing them to meeting room 1, the one with the sofas, and the grand skyline view. I want you to be there”
She nodded “Ok, I can clear my schedule”
He nodded back “Good, and as expected, this is a full time job, you know that”
She simply nodded again, smiling
Then he carried on “it’s Mr. Mars and Mr. Stravinsky. You know them of course, the hottest team in Hollywood, and we’re signing on to their new movie, potentially a blockbuster beyond comparison, we have to make a good impression”
The pair really was world renowned. Shot to the stars a few years back, and gone from mega hit to mega hit, making billions for themselves and the studios as wonder director / actor pair. They were a lot in the news, as well as in other media, where they were not unknown to a bit of party rumors. They were said to be two wild ones, both alone and together. Juliana felt a gentle shiver of starstruckness, but by evening, that would all be under control.
Roland continued “I’ll talk to them first, and you just wait in the back quarters. I’ll call you in when we’re ready for you. It will hopefully be a celebration, so dress nice and expect a late night. And make sure to have champagne on the cooler”
“That is all” he concluded, and ushered her out, expecting her to do her research as well, and make perfect preparations for when she would be entering the room in style.
