I've just been re-reading a short I wrote a few years ago about one day in the life of a family.
No, this isn't about incest...
Each family member goes his/her way and at the conclusion they all meet up in the evening for their usual dinner together... all completely normal...
... except that, during the course of the day, each has been involved in sexual adventures which, as related in the story, it turns out ARE the actual norm for that day of the week.
In other words, each has these regular weekly sex assignations and each thinks that he/she is alone in this and believes the other family members to be as innocent as lambs.
My question is whether I'm right in thinking that this is something of a one-off storyline. It's basically a satirical piece, continually remarking on the supposedly 'humdrum and routine' nature of the day. I've read a lot and nothing seems to come close.
Would appreciate any indications or comments by PM.
