Coastal Oats, California happened to be one of the greatest places on earth. The air was clean, the community was friendly, and for the most part, it was about the size of L.A. Everyone who lived there enjoyed the quiet, peaceful lives that they lived, and the town was never really heard of just for that fact. It didn't bother many people that lived there, however, because if no one new came to the city, then their quiet peace would never be interupted. That was a few months ago, now, the city was beginning to slowly see corruption in the form of art. Graffetti began to show up in the middle of March. The tags started out small at first, on the sides of trains, on old, abandoned warehouses, and under in the sewers. Within a few weeks, however, the tags would begin to grow in number, and break-ins were being reported quite frequently now.

Coastal Oats had a gang in town, one that was growing in number.

The tags that appeared around town were all drawn in the same fashion, each with a unique twist added onto it, the artists that drew them each having a different flavor to their tag. Two wolves, one on the ground, the other wolf over it, as if the one standing was a male, and the other on the ground was the female bitch of the wolf. There was nothing obscene with the mural, but the name underneath clearly showed that there was a group of scoundrals that looked to be either just having fun, or wanted to make the city theirs.

The Alpha Males were growing in numbers, and this is the story of one woman's slow decent into their world, what their secret was, and why they had come to such a peaceful town such as Coastal Oats.

Rachel Porter
36 years old
5'11", very physically fit, strong, yet still feminine physique
Long auburn-brown hair, usually worn up or in a ponytail.
Hazel eyes.
She can be beautiful, kind and soft, but she'll kick your ass if she has to.

Rachel was exhausted as she collapsed into bed at just past 3am, her next shift coming up in about 10 hours.

Being a cop in Coastal Oats had always been a nice, relaxing job for her. It was a big enough city and there was more than a enough police to handle the quiet workload, but things were starting to change. She had done her training and rookie year in Los Angeles before moving back home to work here, mainly because she liked it better and it was much quieter than LA.

She had just been out on a call at another house that had been broken into. They didn't leave any "tags" this time, but it seemed like the work of this group that call themselves the Alpha Males. Apprently, they thought they were the new gang in town, which was pretty stupid because as far as Rachel was concerned, there wasn't much for a gang to do here. The bars in town even had a midnight last-call because of a longstanding city statute, the dance clubs couldn't serve any alcohol after midnight so they didn't really stay open any later than that anyway. One would be very surprised how good of a job that does on cutting down in crime and gang activity, simply because there's not really anywhere to hang out late at night.

What is it with these guys? Most gangs form from racial groups, you'll have a black gang or a latino gang or something, because all gangs need a "reason" to form, something that brings them together, otherwise they usually just stay as a group of random hooligans. The COPD hadn't really figured these guys out yet, they had only really been seeing the tags over the last 6 months or so, but their crimes seemed really petty and they didn't yet know enough about them to recognize the members of the gang on sight yet.

What struck her as weird about the last 2 house break-ins is what was stolen. Naturally, being a woman, most victims wouldn't reveal this detail of the crime to her, she had to find out from one of the male officers. But the last two houses were married couples or people living together, and in both cases, they had very... "personal" items stolen. Tonight's couple had a box containing pornographic movies, a couple of dildos and toys for her, and a home video the couple had made. The boyfriend had reported this detail because they were worried about it ending up on a storefront TV somewhere or something.

This bothered Rachel because (this is something cops learn how to notice) it was illogical. Why would someone break into a house to steal pornography that's more than available at any sex shop or adult bookstore for not terribly much money?

She didn't really have time to put much thought into it before her eyes closed, moments after her head hit the pillow, and she sank into her comfortable bed and quickly fell asleep
