Secret Santa decisions

We need to discuss/decide on the Secret Santa stuff, so I thought I'd start a new thread for it.
We need to decide:

price limit
when we want to draw names
when we want our gift opening to occur
what info we want included about our recipients. last year it was pretty simple, but if there was something you'd have wanted to know last year, let me know.
also, anything else you can think of that you want to discuss/change/decide.

My thoughts on the topics-
I'm going to say 10-15. I know some of you exceeded that last year.

I'm glad you mentioned the over the pond aspect. When you send me your info, I'll need anyone who CAN'T ship out of country to tell me. That goes for everyone. It is going to cost more to ship, so people on a tight budget should let me know. No hard feelings, and no one will know but me.

Name drawing- I'd actually like that to happen sometime in November to give a little more time than last year, but that's just my opinion.

Gift opening- not my department, but it's something y'all will have to decide on so I can harass everyone appropriately about shipping.

Info- last year it was just like favorite things, favorite color. Is there anything that would have helped to know last year?

And for the pics- ha! like you haven't saved all my avs to your computer already!

Price limit makes no difference to me. I have no idea what I have in mind is going to cost, but I'm doin' it anyway and you can't stop me... ROFL. (I swear it will be under $30 if it even goes over $15 at all.) Color is VERY important to me for what I have in mind. Also, I vote for now or as soon as feasibly possible to draw (Or sneak me someone )... creation takes time.

We're not super strict about the $; it's just a guideline so that someone doesn't spend alot of money and then get surprised by a smaller gift in return. Also helps to give people a budgeted amount to plan for.

dont care when they are opened. i know we all tried to do so on the same day and that was difficult. im thinking if its in the same week, that would be fantastic.

Oh! One of the things I know I'll want from people- if they have any peculiar things like alergies to foods or perfumes, etc. I can't remember the situation, but I know that came up last year. Also any particular things they enjoy, hobbies, interests, etc.

As to information being given out - maybe the participants who want to could write a few sentences about themselves to turn in with their info, if they collect anything, are fans of any sports or teams - whatever may not be generally known about them on the boards that may help in finding a gift.

Is it possible set the gift sending deadline early or can I ask for special circumstances? I am moving on or after the 15th of December and I have no clue yet what my new adress will be I realize though that this may not be fair to whoever will have to be my secret santa.

I just considered this, so if this is too difficult to work with, I can withdraw.

I intend to research my recipient thoroughly through previous posts but perhaps you could ask about sexual preferences, fetishes and quirks (only what the person wants to own up to.) Just thinking I wouldn't want to send BBW pics to someone who would prefer foot fetish stories.

I was planning to do that too, actually, but I know that I have many hobbies that I've never ever posted about that would make it a lot easier for someone to find me a gift.

In fact, that's another thing that people should tell me- if they have any date issues, needing to be later or earlier because of other circumstances.

I was actually thinking that it might be a good idea to draw names the end of this week/beginning of next. I truly need that much time.

That was my thought as well. I had hoped we'd iron out the details this week, and then I can have y'all pick numbers the beginning of next week. I just wanted to make sure that wasn't going to be too early for y'all.

McK-I'll probably ask for the info at the end of this week, so that we can figure out what info you all want to get/give. I'd hate for everyone to have to pm me 3 or 4 times to get it all.
