Secret admirers: Ever had one (or been one ?)

Have you ever had a secret admirer confess his or her attraction to you by an anonymous card, note, letter, flower bouquet or otherwise ? How did things progress or wind up between your secret admirer and you ?

Or...

Have you yourself ever been a secret admirer who confessed to someone else your own feelings for him or her ? How did things progress or wind up between you and the one you secretly admired, pined or lusted for ?


Would love to hear about secret admirer experiences.

I've just got to assume that my many, many, admirers have always kept the secret.
Yeah, that's the ticket.

I once found out about a secret admirer, who I had no idea "admired" me so much.

It was years ago, when I was 14 or so, so this is real middle school stuff - pretty immature. But I'll never forget it.

I was friends with this girl (well really I would have messed around with her - but I hadn't figured out how to seduce women yet) at school. Call her Amy. We had a very small class size. She told me once that another girl in our class, this tall Egyptian chick, had a crush on me. Call her Nancy. I didn't believe Amy at all. Then one day Amy gave me, in secret, a stack of notes that Nancy had written her. (I told you this was middle school stuff!)

That night at home, I pored over the notes. They were all about how much Nancy loved me, how she dreamed of touching me, etc. etc. I mean she really had a thing for me. It was weird reading someone else's semi-private thoughts, especially about me. I was flattered but a little embarrassed. Nancy was cute and nice, but I wasn't sure how to handle it.

In the end, I kept my mouth shut. But I did start to pick up on her signals more often. Armed with knowledge, I would see when she stared, smiled, etc. at me. Looking back, I wish I had given her a chance. She had a pretty face and a tall, slender body. I have to admit, it was kind of a turn on to read her writings about me. After that, I always reasoned that if I thought (based on signals) that a girl was attracted to me, it meant she probably was.
