I always thought that this was just a myth, until I woke up this morning and remembered I'd failed to resist the urge yesterday to buy a self-assemble plastic kit of a scale model of a Boeing 747.
Sad isn't it?

What is worse is when -

You find yourself singing the Tellietubbies song and realise you know the words, or find yourself watching Saturday kids TV and just need to catch the end before you head out of the door for a day of "adult entertainment"

Not that I am saying I have ever done either of these things though - you know....

Hugs,

Heart xxxx

At 36, am i too young for my second childhood?

I find that I am reliving my youth through my children. They are three and five years old and I love playing and teaching and spending time with them. We play with toys, play make believe games and just talk. My three year old's version of the real world is exquisite. (Geesh! mental block on the spelling of that x kwi zit! lol)

Sometimes, when we are together and I am very relaxed, I can open my mind and see the world through their eyes. Their innocence and wonder is magnificent! The beauty of children is unmatched.

We should all remain in touch with our youth. Open our minds and feel free to build a model or use the crayolas!

Ahhh! My mommy moment for the day is now complete. :)
