Second best?

I got an interesting bit of feedback this morning:

"X-Men: All About Touch" is the 2nd best story on Literotica.com, the best being
"JLH in Bondage". It was simply amazing. Great work!

It was anonymous and got me thinking. What kind of a reader send a piece of feedback to tell you that your story was not as good as someone else's? Moreover, what kind of reader names the other story? Plus my story didn't gain anything in the votes which is slightly suspicious.

Given the weird and very precise style of writing, I suspect this might be an elaborate way of the author getting people to read JLH in Bondage. Has anyone else got a feedback like this?

I've gotten that a couple times. Although usually they say something like "XXXXX story used to be the worst story on Lit. Now it's 2nd worst story."

It seems like a regular piece of disguised plugging to me. The same thing that made me close my account on MP3.com about a year ago. (Yeah, I play in a band. We suck. End of story.) Since there was money in every download, the inventive ways of hiding self plugging got completely out of hand. I got some 25 to 30 mails/day like that when the situation was at it's worst.

Besides, I have my doubtsabout what a story with such a blunt title as "JLH in Bondage" could have to offer.
