I'm in the Seattle area. I take pity on you for having to come here. Hehe. I could chat but I don't meet people I don't know and I try to stay out of Seattle. The city. It isn't pretty.

Thanks Jada! I haven’t spent much time there and not even exactly sure where I will be relative to the city proper. Haha.

I actually heard that Seattle is a nice city. Are you saying that it isn't?

Seattle is a City. They are doing a lot of "Facelifting" right now. So the waterfront isn't as pretty as normal. I hate driving in Seattle. But that's why I don't live in the City. If you ignore the bums and trash, it's beautiful. This time of year is extra rainy and dark. Bring your flippers. You'll never have a hard time finding coffee.

The Seattle Seahawks were my second favorite football team growing up. I liked them because it seemed like they were always the 4 pm game back in the 80's and I liked their uniforms. It's on my bucket list to go to a Seahawks game sometime.

Well I will say this. If you like football. You will love the experience here. One thing Seattle is. Very into their Seahawks ;) Loud and Proud.

I saw that. Seattle Dragons. Vince McMahon though. I'm more of a College Football person. WSU is my favorite.

It's supposed to be a real football league this time around instead of the wrestling attitude and side stories. I'll give it a watch. The crazy thing is it starts in February. Can you imagine playing games in New York and Washington, DC in February and March? I'm not sure what the weather is like in Seattle those months.

But yea, Vince is a bit of a tool

I rarely go into Seattle these days. Traffic and parking suck. If I do go downtown I take a bus and do a lot of walking. I do have to say though that a ferry ride on a nice day can be breath taking. I also went down to the Pearl Jam concert and a Seahawk game last year and had a blast.

So living outside of Seattle and visiting downtown works well for me. Given I have lived here most of my life I have to say that I love the PNW.

Thanks all - last time I was there traffic was definitely worse than I thought it would be, but I'm used to traffic. Only in town for a few days, so looking to make the most of whatever free time I have.

I visited Seattle 6 weeks ago, it was the high light of my three and a half week tour of the US.
The people were awesome, very friendly.
I will definitely be visiting again in the future.

It used to be. Now it's riddled with crime, drug addicts and homeless people who love to throw pee and poop. It's being run by control freak criminals now. :(

What area were you in?

It's sad what they've turned the city into. I'm in the South Sound area and a little further south of me, Olympia, is following suit. "Seattle is Dying" on YouTube is good for those thinking of visiting.

I have to admit. I watched this. It was heartbreaking. Not that I was unaware. But the segment on a whole. Was just hard to watch. :(
But a small bit of this, is why I avoid Seattle.
