Seattle Lit member sighting

I heard this nasty rumor that a certain very tall and shy Lit member is probably going to be riding his motorcycle in and around the monthly Seattle Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiast meeting tonight.

If any of you Lit members in Seattle are near Teddy's bar (near north Roosevelt) and/or the Latona tonight from 5-7 PM and you see a red Airhead BMW with yellow bags roaring around, a tall guy in yellow and red barely hanging on - well close your eyes and wait for the loud crash that will inevitably come afterwards.

Then again, that tall guy might just be lucky and not crash like he often does. Instead he may be walking around looking at all the cool bikes. Maybe.

(the one you are talking about in your post, Shy Tall Guy).. tell him when he learns to stay in an upright position, to travel south on I-5.. take the ABERDEEN exit... head west.. about 45 or so miles.. take the MONTESANO/RAYMOND exit..

That is a ways south for me - several hours by my calcs. I've suggested it elsewhere; but us Pacific NorthWet Lit people should have a meeting some time - maybe Portland, maybe Seattle. There are enough of us if everybody came - but then maybe people want to keep it anonymous.

My friends north of the border tell me it is almost impossible to get across. They were just going to go to Bellingham for some Barley Therapy with other bikers and they were just about stripped searched.

What is Friday night Cat? Got a honey in Seattle?

VME meetings are the first Wed. of every month, and there are lots of cool bikes there - many people haven't seen before. But this particular one was probably the last one I will go to this year - after this it will probably be too wet and cold to ride my bike into Seattle.

but i have a set of handcuffs.. and tonight he is playing cop.. he is a correctional officer part time.. and a City cop full time

First we have to get others to commit to coming. We have people down in the Portland area and south of there, and we've got BratCat up north of the Border and so on. So who knows?

I know - but I wasn't; when I was young and foolish I did mess with a married woman and that was the word - MESS! It took years to live that down! {shudder}

Washington and Oregon are nice in many ways, but I get tired of them in the winter. the trees and plants drop their leaves, it starts drizzling non-stop, and the skies go grey instead of blue.

It has been pretty nice so far, but I know it is only a matter of time until winter comes - the leaves are starting to drop already. If I could I would be getting ready to head south, or preferably to New Zealand for the winter.
