....nobody local just yet. :-(

Not completely surprising...it's a fairly parochial, olde English/Scottish type place reallly, moreso than the UK it has been said....tres charming, but not so very kinky, except in shhhhh quiet little pockets on big farms scattered around that colony fair.

Mind you, there are some of the citizenry of your fine republic on this board that would/have argue(d) that point with me...believing perhaps in the universality of their views, articulation and constructs....but that's another topic, one that mixes smiles with a sadness of sorts, wishing they could see it for themselves and give the callouses a chance to melt away.

There, it's all about solitude, contemplation, whispered instructions, brilliant clean natural surroundings, where hummingbirds, eagles, hawks, bunnies, deer, squirrels, grosbeaks, finches, owls and trout all stitch mornings into days into evenings (hopefully) an estrogen buffet spread eagled, bound by silken sashes yet floating on a bed of brilliant stars, the Milky Way and the Moon in view o'er one's head thru the skylites above the pillows whilst sashes, clamps, and assorted other instruments of man and flesh transport one to places ethereally surreal.

But that's a different gig than the hard-boiled urbanites in the land of guns might appreciate, so best not to enflame the cynics who think Nature & Creation are neighbors of stilted speech and trusting your instincts in places where people and trust are somewhat differently defined.

So instead.....there'll be a Memo, a Contract, Oprah-esque oh-be-carefulls, a PowerPoint deck of slides, a Poll or two and lots of talk talk talk...polysyllabic pontifications, prententious pretending and spouting off of committments hollow to avatars instead of flesh. Tuch-tuchs and quack-quacks.

You know the drill. To each his own, I say, celebrating whatever works for each, though wishing for more in the conviction of knowing what's real.

However, as my body knifes through the silken waters cool from the dock....I'll frankly be giving a rat's patootie about that.

And having wishes of fishes sleek wet and smooth.

Ahhhhheaven.

Well thank you, Image...it's a lovely place. I'm looking forward to moving back there in April or May after the ice and snow are gone, to settle in there again until November or so, as is my pattern.

It's my favorite place to be. The privacy, solitude, water, wild life, all just an hour from the city.
