Searching stories problem

Hi All,

I read a reluctance story on literotica ages ago about a woman who was serviced by men/soldiers on a stage (she may have been in prison, I can't remember) and had 3 at a time, and swapped over for another 3, tag team style etc. etc. It was a hot fantasy!

My problem is that I can't remember the title of the story or the author name. The search page doesn't allow for anyone to search for keywords within the story itself.

Is there any chance that the actual story text can be searched? It would be most helpful! Or does anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Still not working

Thanks for the speedy reply erika!

However ..

It seems that it will search the synopsis only and not the content of the body of the story.

If, for instance, I search under NC/Reluctance for "chair" it comes up with no hits and I know that there are stories in that category that contain the word chair.

I would really, really, really like to be able to search the entire story.....

Are there any mods out there that would be able to make this reality?

Thanks so much in advance.

Regards

Riteon

The truth of it is, mods don't have time to go looking through the contents of stories for people...especially because there are lots of people looking for specific stories they read once and now can't find.
If you're /that/ desperate to find it (and the search feature isn't working), skim the entirety of the "nonconsent/reluctance" section.

Try posting your question in the Author's Hangout. Someone there might recognize the story you're looking for.

Sorry, you must have not understood me properly, or I worded it incorrectly.

What I mean't by

"Are there any mods out there that would be able to make this reality?"

is that would the search page be able to be changed so that you can search the "whole" of the story rather than by title or synopsis ..?

... like you can do on the message board posts.

Regards

The story area is much different then the message board. Besides if you searching with the word "Chair" I bet you will get a bizillion hits because of that word. As suggest, try author's hangout, or story feedback. They could point you in the direction.

I still think

that there should be links, like there used to be at the bottom of every forum page, links to the stories section.
There is no way to get there from here with one click, like there used to be before we got the new forum software installed.
That's a shame, since the stories are the reason we all came here to begin with.
I don't see why we can't have the old story jump links put back in.

Why not just click the Literotica.com link, delete everything beyond the .com in the address bar, or bookmark the story index page, your favorite categories, etc.?

Ravin - With today's technology.....

... you would expect to be able to search the entire story and use +, - , and and or switches to single out the required story. Skimming through is just a waste of time - that what you had to do before you had computers.

It's a real shame as I'm sure that it would be very simple to implement - if you look into the code of the page it says

- Code
"What keywords are you looking for?" [input type="text" name="keywords" size="40"]
- End Code

Would it possible for this to check the main body of the story and not just keywords?

Does anyone know who owns this site or the webmaster as this would be a *really* useful function ?

Sorry to rant on ........
