Searching for a story. Main character is called Hunter.

I've been looking for a story for some time now. I tried the GB, but was suggested to ask in here.

The story revolves around a guy named Hunter (not S. Thompson) who moves from Australia to USA, with his family. On his first day of school he gets in a fight with a guy, for looking at his girlfriend. Hunter is also a rather avid diver, which is repeated in the story as how he misses the sea and so on.

It's a rather long story that tells of his experiences in high school. In book 2 you get the story as he goes through college.

I'm really hoping someone can help, since I haven't been able to locate the story.

As far as I remember it's all 18+... He's in his last year of high school.

Have you tried Search Stories? There are so many stories posted that you'll probably need to sift through a quintillion false hits, but Boolean operands should cut the number down.

I think Hunter is a pretty common name, both first and last. If you could search on something else, like the diving, or if you remember the category, you could narrow the search down a bit.
