Searching For A Starfish…

I was thinking the same thing. She's probably laying low for a while so our defences will get weakened and then she'll attack. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

AAAGHHH!!!!!

I was just logging in to say to anyone else wondering about her presence -that I just received an email from her stating that she had some modem problems the last couple of days.

Actually what she had to say is absolutely fascinating, but I'll let her tell the spooky details.

And she is doing okay…
She might just be teasing me, but she said she may pop for a bit tonight.

She is quite the tease though.

I haven't talked to Starfish since our last PM several days ago. It will be nice to see her around. If I miss her, hopefully she will see this and know I am thinking of her.:rose:

Yeah, if I were to tell Dixon would come on here with his panties all in a wad and tell me I am full of shit. But, I'll do it anyway because I'll get a kick out of it.

On Monday night I was on the computer doing some crap, and at 5:30 the computer froze on me. All had been fine, but this came out of no where. I figured that my ram was low and I should restart. It wouldn't do anything after a ctrl+alt+delete, so I just shut the computer down and then kicked it back on. It started running a scan disk, but it failed at it midway through the deal, so I just shut it off again, waited ten minutes and kicked it back on and it just loaded up the password box without a scandisk, but once I was in and loading it froze again. I then noticed that the 'recieve' light on my modem was flashing but the other lights weren't on. There was no activity. So, I just turned it off. About ten minutes after this ordeal we got hit by a powerful electrical storm. After two hours of this storm, then tv started freaking out, the roof started thumping and it was a booming thump we felt through the wall behind the couch. We both were just like ???WTF???? was that?

A little later, we were watching tv still, and David was dozing off, and half the lights faded down and went out, came back on and then they all flick out and went back on in a matter of five seconds.

David had called the cable office and set up to have the guy come here earlier today. I was outside on the deck whent the dude got here so I wasn't in there for it, but David came out and said the guy had been there and they went downstairs to check the connections. Somehow, someone swapped our connection lines and David even noted that the cables where switched. Problem solved in a matter of seconds...

but what or who switched the wires and how did they do it when we where home without our knowing about it?
