Search Facilty On Authors

Why isnt there a search function on authors. It would help to be able to search by name, or Location and then go straight to their profile without having to search through dozens of pages to find them.
Anyone else think so?????

Why would one need to find an *author* by their *Location*???

Most of us don't put our real or fine-detailed location up anyway...

You can search on members, which will get you authors if you know the name. Go to "Search Members" on the "Story and Pics" page. Click on the tab "Member Search" in the upper right. Type in the name you are looking for in the box and click on "go." Click on the name you want and it will take you to their profile, including story list.

Yep, it would be nice if hey worked the bugs out of the new search engine which is supposed to have that capability.

In the meantime, you can find the author with the forum search and copy the userID number from the link to their Forum Profile.

For example, your forum profile can be found at http://forum.literotica.com/member.php?u=624119

Then call up any author's profile and edit the address bar with the userID number from the forum profile.

Your author's submissions page can be found at: http://www.literotica.com:81/stories/memberpage.php?uid=624119&page=submissions

It's cumbersome, but it's lightyears faster than scrolling through a thousand entries for each letter of the alphabet.

To Vermilion I am currently doing a study on UK authors and its a pain beyond belief to search anything on this site. Still, you are an Aries arnt you?
