Thank you scylis. I have the main books as well as the Psonic's Handbook but I haven't gotten around to the Forgotten Realms guidebook.

What's in it? Is it worth the dough?

everything you need to know to adventure in Faerun, a few extra monsters, stats for all your favorite characters (well, nearly all), modified stats reflecting some of the different races of Toril, and a really big map!! bonus!

FR was never my favorite setting.
All my characters were built for PS... which, of course, no one else seems to like. Are they going to update it for 3e? Someone told me that they were basically getting rid of the multiverse.

They have opened up the multiverse and the book is coming out this month.. and I'm out of money.

stats have changed for a lot of them, i think. for instance, Drizzt is now a fighter/barbarian/ranger (10/1/5 respecivly) since the new dual-classing rules better fit his story (no more "how the hell did he just up and change from a fighter to a ranger?")

hell, it's ALREADY OUT! i forgot that i looked thru it when i got the FR guidebook at the beginning of the month! sorry, my bad! must have been pushed out of my mind by the FR guidebook..
