I sent a PM and an email to Laurel to ask this question, but I haven't heard back. Perhaps one of you might be able to answer it.

I have a screenplay that I would like to submit, but I don't know if Literotica accepts screenplays and, if so, to which are should I submit it?

Thanks.

I doubt it would be a problem as long as you have formatted by typing the code that the forum software inserts when you write posts. Bold/italic/underlined text and centre/right alignment need to be coded by you manually or your screenplay will likely be incomprehensible to readers.

It's still a story and so long as the content doesn't break Lit's rules, I doubt they'll reject it.

Hmmmm. That's a thought.

In its centered dialog format, it's 150 pages long -- no "chapters."

Should I let others break it into chapters or "acts," or is that my responsibility?

BTW - Thank you so much for responding. I think the people in charge here are really too busy to deal with this question, so I really appreciate your input.

Next question: It has a couple of erotic scenes, but it is mostly an historical drama. Should I submit it as non-erotic or just submit it?

Break it into acts and submit two acts per submission for ease of reading, depending on length. The start of the second act in the submission will provide a nice "take a break" point.

Many successful submissions are mostly dialogue and generating a relationship between two characters, Kraft. Note that all sex scenes are about the same, so the thing the more enlightened readership looks for is character development et al. Your work is probably not out of place here. As Fuckmeat said, so long as it complies with the site rules and formatting requirements you will be fine.

Thank you.

The entire thing fully complies with the Lit rules.

It was written as an unsegmented outline for a TV miniseries, allowing those who wish to produce it to break it up into as many "Parts" as they wish. I will figure one-hour segments (sans commercials) but allow for "Previously on" starts and end credits in each part, netting manageable storyline and cohesive continuity.

Thanks again.

It is my understanding that they will reformat the source material as they wish to air it. My suggestion to you would be to format it for the sake of the reader at convenient plot breaks in your narrative.

I didn't think erotic movies had scripts. Huh! The more you know, right?

Well, yeah. I figured they would do with it as they please, but for the time being, I have it in several formats. I will split it up into chapters. Thank you.

Not a problem, I look forward to seeing it.

It ended up being seven chapters.

Probably not the same divisions I would make for a production, but gives some natural breaks (more or less) for text readers.

I submitted it under the category "Lesbian Sex" which does substantial injustice to the thing, but it was least objectionable category.

Thanks again for the help.

I'll keep an eye out for it, should be up in a couple days. I'm going through some of your earlier submissions here and particularly enjoying "Karen was left unattended" for some reason. Haven't listened to the audio yet - sadly, in public at the moment - but I'm looking forward to that as well when I get back to the house.

Thank you. My favorite is Sandra Gets Off Line:

Yes, that is really quite good as well. I do know a model personally (nothing major, like a provincial/Western Canada model) and several others like her and while none of them have been as intelligent as Sandra, you do peg the 'scene' down really well from my, albeit limited, interactions with it.

Thank you.

As for my screenplay submission, it was rejected. There was no way to have it appear on the screen in screenplay format -- the indentation would be lost, making for an arduous read. Oh well. At least that answers the question of the thread.
