That depends on how you define 'recovery'.

Locally we have people who were fit and younger (under 50) who have 'recovered' but have 'long COVID' which means significant damage to their organs and a much reduced life expectancy. Older people are much more likely to experience 'long COVID'.

The US still has a quarter of a million dead and rising. The UK has a greater death toll per 100,000 people but the US is creeping up on us despite our continuing death toll.

The US is a Protestant Christian majority nation with equal rights and complete freedom for other faiths or no faith. It must be acknowledged that the Protestant Christian heritage is an integral part of the culture and its civil influence respected.

The radical left extremists have largely succeeded in imposing non-religion or even atheism as the official state religion in recent decades which is helping to hasten the end of American majority culture and our traditional freedoms.
