Scores Not Registering

Have noticed over the last few weeks that my score at the end of a chapter or story does not register/change the overall score. For example, the overall score of a chapter I was about to read this evening was 4.79.

After reading the chapter I gave it 5 stars. The stars lit up as they always have. After a short pause the customary "Thank you" message appeared. When I went back to the chapter info the score was still 4.79. I logged out and back in again, but the overall score was still 4.79.

It's the same with all the things I have read over the last few weeks including the story I voted for in the Valentine's day contest. However many stars I've given, the overall score remains unchanged...

I'd be grateful for any help or advice please.

If a story has enough votes, your single vote often won't change the score. It only takes between 45 and 50 votes for the score to remain the same after you cast a 5 vote on a 4.79. The higher the vote total or score, the less impact each 5 has.

Also, keep in mind that visible scores are not real time. Every area of the website updates at different times — some more frequently than others. The only place where score is updated in real time is on an author's private submissions page. So you can only see your own scores in real time. With anyone else's score, you can only see what it was the last time it updated in whatever location you're viewing it.
