I am a big fan of Richard K. Morgan's ALTERED CARBON Novel Series & the later Netflix Series of the same.
If you haven't read or seen it, it's about an envoy (a super soldier, & later freedom fighter) Takeshi Kovacs.
The stories device is the Cortical Stack, a device implanted in all humans at age 1, which copies, codes and stories humans conscience in thier stack. Which can be (reserved) transfered into other human or enhanced cloned bodies; it can also be sent by needlecast to other planets, and into a rented body or copy of your body (if you have the money).
Stacks can also be retrieved after physical death and conscience transfered to a new stack and body.
ALTERED CARBON Gives excellent example erotically in both the novels and a Netflix how this can be exploited.
The only other movie was XChange where you transfer to your mind into other bodies for travel, physical training and especially pleasure.
