Sci-Fi?

I've just submitted the beginnings of two new series but they're very much sci fi based......so what do people think about this? Is there enough sci-fi on this site to warrant it's own category?

I myself happen to haunt the "Non-human" category. It may be because of a glut of shows like Star Trek, or movies like Interview with a Vampire... but I am a firm believer that fantasies are just that, and there are no boundries!!
