what does everyone think of a thread with a more fantastastical theme such as

the love springs of Xanth

mutants (like x-men but with none of the original characters being used)

star trek the pleasure planet of Rissa

or anything else you might dream up

Personally, I voted everything except Xanth - basically anything you either don't NEED background on or I have it on. Ask my wife, I'm game for anything.

As to evil - you could do that in any thread. And suuuuure... if you want to do a really evil thread, that means you gotta have some goody-two-shoes to be corrupted or take part in the nc stuff...

Im not sure about Xanth... but once I read this fantasy novel called " The color of her panties ", and I think the setting of the book was Xanth... am I right?

i think i'll give it until next monday so everyone can finesse their character and give everyone plenty of time to join in. I expect to start a basic thread and to have spin offs as necessary

I think it would be better if we played in a different world... on the other hand if we play on the X-men world we can use the X-Men as NPC characters...

I'm not against using the x-characters as NPCs, but I have to say, I was always more a DC than Marvel fan, and as I stopped buying comics completely about 6 years ago, I don't know who is who in the x-bies any more...

We could use some idea of how Intriguess wants to run this, as you say. That way we can know what kind of characters to use. I certainly have some sickos I could polish off for you (like Amyl Nitrite - who can induce any and/or all effects of any drug in her victims) or some goody-two-shoes who are up for being tortured.

Age: only he knows but looks to be in his med twenties
Look: Black hair black eyes that seem to absorb light pale skill 6’6 200 ponds well toned mussels.
Personality; tends to be the one that stays on out side of the group doesn’t like crowded areas like cities don’t talk to much and is very loyal to the peppal that earn is trust.
Powers: he can see and her like a cat he can shift in to a black panther a ravine and mist he heals fast small cuts only take a few seconds he’s got the cats agility his at home in the woods.

I’ll ad skills and weapons when I now where we are going to go with the thread. And agen tell me if I need to chang any thing

Look: Huguenot is huge mabye 7' and very muscular, but he looks horrible. He is bald with what seems to be red cracks all over his skull and deep red lines under his eyes. The world has treated him like a monster and he is starting to believe them.
Powers: Super-Stregnth (Hulk like stregnth)

I hope that this is ok to use.

I tend to feed off whatever you guys need, as it sounds like we are more interested in evil, I'd suggest a post world war three earth with a non existant government and those who rule do so by force and are corupt

the x-men concept is merely included such that you understand that normal people can be included and that mutants ability is related to genetic alteration.

Heh, I tried to post this two days ago, but cable went down like an intern. Anyhoo... having read what you intend to do, intriguess, I think the time for a victim superheroine is now... I was playing with a little thing called "Hero Machine" two days ago and came up with a little lady by the name of "Liberty" - a name suitable to the USA, and especially suitable following an apocalypse...

Name: Liberty
Age: 18
Height: 5'8"
Build: Athletic (er... think track or swimming, not field)
Hair: Long, blonde, with pigtails (my how innocent)
Eyes: Dazzling blue
Complexion: Clear, light
Other: Goes 'ting' when she smiles (heh, well maybe not literally, but you get the meaning)
Physical Mutation: White, Dove-style wings (not dove-sized of course - ripe for being plucked)
Costume: Red, white and blue. Top is divided red right, blue left, long sleeved. Gloves reverse the colors. White cape with golden eagle emblem between her wings. White sash belt. Red skirt. Blue leggings with white stars under skirt, reaching down to blue shin-boots with red, vertical strips.
Mutant Powers: Lightning bolt type blasts from hands, flight
Human Prowess: Extremely athletic, very strong for a human (ie just below superhuman), good senses, very agile, experienced combatant (lets face it you don't grow up with two sodding great wings on your back and not get bullied).
Attitude: Brave, fairly intelligent, but completely sexually naive superhero.
