Sci-Fi Artificial Insemination

So I had an idea for a story taking place in a future Sci-fi setting. A new planet is being colonized and our two main characters (one male one female) wind up as the only inhabitants and must now populate the planet. After several failed attempts due to the male characters part(he has a very small penis, serious premature ejaculation, shooting blanks, etc) the female character comes up with a solution to use the medical robot. After the first try is successful (future technology means she only needs to get pregnant once because they can then clone the fertilized egg) the woman character gets addicted and keeps getting knocked up by the robot even though she no longer needs to. As for the male character he initially watches and jerks off but eventually realizes something is wrong and tries to break her addiction.

As for the characters I thought of a variety of pairings for them.
Boyfriend and Girlfriend
Best Friends
Son and Mother
Brother and Sister
Complete Strangers

As for the robot I was thinking either a star wars type droid or terminator type robot.

A couple old underground comix have a Mad Scientist (MS) build a robot in his image that his daughter or other victim prefers to fuck because Robot is a better lover than is MS. For hot tragi-comedy, Robot harvests MS's sperm to impregnate the happy woman.
