It was a sunny day on a mid spring afternoon as I sat there in my U.S history class. I stared blankly outside at the campus as all the other kids are having fun, while I'm listening to another long ass boring lecture from Mr. Jacobs.
Since school ends in another month, we are getting projects assigned to us. Mr. Jacobs begins to pair us off in teams to work on these.
"...David and Michelle..." said Mr. Jacobs in his usual dull tone.
OMG! I get to work with the hottest girl in class. Maybe this project won't be so bad after all.
The bell rings and everyone rushes out the door. I pack my books and approach Michelle.
"Hi. Looks like we're going to be working together. Why don't you come over to my house today after school. I'll meet you by the front entrance at 3. See ya later."
I rush to my next class filled with anticipation...
