::Jonathon would be seen walking through the halls, today he had on a nice button up shirt and a pair of khakis. This was his first day of class at another new school as he would let out a sigh. Walking through the crowdof people with his paper in hand and bag over his back making his way through the halls. Stopping at his locker and turning the combination until it unlocked and opened it putting his bag into the locker and then taking out paper and a few sharp pencils. Looking down at the schedule to see that his first class was English Lit which was right across the hallway. Making his way into the classroom as he looks around noticing not many people where here yet not even the teacher, walking to the front row and taking a seat down in the desk waiting for the class to start::

Shana was sitting in her usual seat, at least in the seat she sat in for other classes in this room. It was midmorning so she sat by the window, watching the light get brighter and brighter inside the room. She tugged at her shirt because the wires to her headphones had been moving around, and she hummed to the music. She was wearing her normal outfit, a black vest around a lowcut white shirt and her jeans. She had this cute silver necklace that hung around her neck and she lightly tapped a pencil against the desk waiting for the class to fill in.

She didn't pay attention really to who came in, it was just another class in the day and she was eager to be done with it. English lit was not her favorite class to take, although she loved to write poetry. Anyways, she lightly bounced her head as the songs she was listening to played in her ears.

"Hmmm.. hmmm... On a quest for Tanelorn... hmmm hmmm... we lose our way..." she said to herself softly.

::His attention would be caught by a female sitting over by the window, she was pretty but she seemed to be in her own little world right now with the headphones on and he could hear her mumbling something but he couldn't quite make it out. He was still seated though as he looked around the classroom, it still wasn't that full and there was no teacher yet either. So he would now stand up and walk over to her with a smile on his face, standing in front of the female now, his eyes looking at her::

"Hello there miss, how are you doing today?"

"Hello there miss, how are you doing today?"

Shana glanced at the student that apparently wanted to talk. She couldn't hear a word he was saying, so she slid the headset off her ears and around her neck.

"What?" she asked, "sorry I didn't hear what you said."

Suzannah Jameson's heels clicked on the floor of the corridor as she headed towards her first class of the day. One arm holding several books and a file to her chest, the other swinging lightly by her side. Knowing she had a new student in her class she had made an extra effort to look professional. A crisp white shirt encasing her generous cleavage, perhaps a button more than necessary undone but she didn't worry about it too much. A grey skirt slid over her curves to rest just above her knees, showing her stocking clad lower legs and conservative heels. Her long dark brown hair she had swept up behind her head, a few tendrils curling down around her neck and face.
Stepping into the class she saw she was one of the first to arrive. Shana was in her customary position, mind taken over with the music from her earphones. And a young man in the front row. A stranger who she assumed must be her new student. Smiling at him warmly, she headed to her desk at the front of the class and began sorting through her papers and books, getting ready for the rest of her students to arrive so the lesson could begin.

::All of his very little talking was done for no reason as she didn't hear a word he said. Smiling to her as she removed them now as he looked into her eyes quickly before pulling away::

"Just wanted to say hello to you, I am Jonathon"

::Before he could much more out of his mouth, he would hear the sounds of footsteps and turn to see someone moving behind the desk, it was the teacher and she was pretty sexy. Deciding that he didn't want to get in trouble on his first day of school, he would walk back to his desk and take a seat down in it, grabbing his pencil and paper as he smiled to the teacher and then looked to Shana::

"Just wanted to say hello to you, I am Jonathon"

Shana politely smiled and was going to say hi back, but the teacher walked in. Shana quickly quirped to herself that she looked snazzy today, but she watched Jon walk back to his chair and she shrugged. Class didn't start for a while yet so she slipped her headphones back on. Her eyes rolled over the room and she caught Jon looking at her. She just smiled to acknowledge him and she continued to tap her pencil.

Tag Adams (janitor)

Tag arrived late - again.

Ol' Mister Grantham must have opened up the gates, thank God or the principle would be on his case from day one of term - again.

Grantham was a sweet old guy - officially still the janitor, but really he was just livin' in the on-site house 'til he died off. It wouldn't be long.

Tag didn't really mind - the money was ok and he pretty much had the run of the school. The huge bunch of keys on his belt felt like a badge of authority and he sauntered and clunked his way through the hallways, smiling as girls smiled, waved and scattered off to class as he strode through to his "office".

His office was just a cupboard really - a big cupboard, but a cupboard all the same. He opened the door and tugged the chord of the hanging bulb, smiling "hello" to all his Playboy posters and checking his stash of weed was still there - you never knew with these kids.

He tucked a coupla joints into his dungarees and read the note the Principle had tacked to the door.

Burst bulb in 26c
Broken plug socket in the canteen
Rotating blackboard 'squeaking' in class 23

he sighed, tucking the long list into his pocket, sat down and flicked on the kettle.

Miss Jameson

Casting her green eyes around the room, Suzannah guessed that all of the students who were going to show had arrived and so she stood and moved to close the door.
"Alright, good morning everyone...Shana...Shana! Time to turn off the music, we have the classics to get on with this morning..." She continued to smile even as she had to call slightly louder to get through the music to reach Shana's ears.
"We have a new student with us this morning, Jonathon isn't it...?" She asked warmly, looking at the young man in the front row. "Would you like to introduce yourself to your classmates...?"

::Sitting there at his desk as it looked like the teacher was about to get the class started now, looking up as she tried to get ahold of the other student but her music was on right now so it would be hard. Then the teacher's voice would ring through his ears as it immediently got his attention as he nodded his head when she asked if that was his name. She then asked him to tell him about himself and he was a little nervous to do that at first but he would find himself standing up::

"Yeah, my name is Jonathon Sprague, I am 18 years old and I like to just hang out with my friends. There really isn't much about me but the fact that I travel to alot of schools because my parents move alot"

Dante strode through the halls, feeling incredibly lethargic. He wasn't used to being to school on time, usually rollling in an hour or so later. A smart enough kid, Dante just didn't really have any interest in school, feeling his career opportunities lay in areas outside of scholastics. He sometimes like to joke and pretend the real reason he didn't care about his schoolwork was because he was a proud African-American and couldn't stand the Eurocentricism of American education. But the truth was he just wasn't interested in learning math and all that, and just got the grades he needed to keep playing sports.

He smiled sleepily at all the people he passed that he knew in the hallway's, as he ran his afro pick through his hair. Sometimes it was hard being one of the only people of color in the school, hell even in the town. Dante felt like, while he had a lot of friends, he just didn't fit in very well. Ah well. He was just going through the motions to graduation and then it was off to wherever. He had drive that was for sure.

He laughed as he saw Tag the janitor coming down the hallway. "Another day another buck eh?" He asked the man as he grasped his hand in a greeting. Unlike most schools their janitor wasn't a dumpy fat dude, and Dante knew a lot of the girls were pretty gaga over Tag. he was an alright guy too, kept it real, though Dante sometimes thought his potential was wasted as a janitor, but whatever kept people happy.

Dante turned the corner towards his first class, English Lit and saw Ms. Jameson entering the classroom. Fuck he thought, I hope I'm not late he thought to himself. He picked up his pace and entered the classroom, excuses fresh on his lips, but he didn't need to worry. Only two other people were there, Shana, lost in her own world, and some kid looking like he just got out of a business meeting. "Goddamnit. I could still be asleep." He groaned under his breathe before trooping to the front of the class and taking a seat directly behind Shana. He tapped her on the shoulder to get her attention. "Hey, how ya been? Things going well?" He made small talk with her for a little bit, asking how her summer was and whatnot. "So does class start soon? I think my watch was a bit off or some shit if there's only two other people." He smiled at her and let her go back to what he was doing and stood up and walked to the front of the class. "Ms. Jameson, you're looking nice today." Dante said playfully winking at her. "I meant to bring you an apple today, but I got hungry on my way to school." He shrugged and started pacing the room, wishing class would start so it would end. He wandered over to where the kid he didn't recognize was sitting. "Hey, I'm Dante. You new here?"

Miss Jameson

"Yeah, my name is Jonathon Sprague, I am 18 years old and I like to just hang out with my friends. There really isn't much about me but the fact that I travel to alot of schools because my parents move alot"

Suzannah listened to his introduction, making sure the other students listened.
"Well, it's a pleasure to have you here Jonathon and please do ask if you need help with anything, after all...I am here to help you as much as I can..." Her eyes meeting his as she leant down slightly towards his desk. Thinking at the last minute he'd probably have a good view down her blouse if he chose to look but shook off the thought. He seemed like a nice young man, no need to worry about wandering eyes with him.

"Ms. Jameson, you're looking nice today...I meant to bring you an apple today, but I got hungry on my way to school." She heard as Dante sauntered into class, she smiled and rolled her eyes at him a little.

"Now, class...Shana...Shana! Turn the music off now...thank you...now, can you all turn to page 32 and today's poem..."
She picked up her book and spun to sit on the edge of her desk, facing the class, waiting for them to find their pages.

::Taking a look around the classroom as he would nod his head to the teacher before making his way back down to his seat. He was able to see her leaning over the desk and his eyes would wander just a bit, watching and seeing down her blouse just a little before he was interuppted by the voice of the kid who just stepped into the classroom. Taking a look at Dante and nodding his head to him::

"Yeah I am the new kid, the name is Jonathon and it is nice to meet you Dante"

::His ice blue hues would however return their gaze over at the teacher as he flashed her a smile, some thoughts running into his head as he would take the book and open it up to the page the teacher has specified looking down at the poem::

"Cold Blooded." Dante mumbled with a smile to Ms. Jameson as he returned to his seat. She began the lesson as students began to trickle into the classroom.

Book? Oh yeah, Dante knew he forgot something when he left home today. He'd been in a rush, convinced he was already late. If he'd known he'd been so early well he would have had more time to remember things like books. Not that he necessarily would have anyway. Oh well. He raised his hand and said "I forgot my book today Ms. Jameson, do you have an extra copy I could use?" He yawned sleepily, thinking how good it would feel to just be back in bed right now.

Chris

I walked into class after Dante. That wasn't a good sign. He was usually late which probably meant I was as well. Damn alarm clock!

English Lit was one of my favourite lessons. Nothing to do with the subject matter. Simply that the girls and the teacher Miss Jameson were hot. I especially liked it when I needed help from her and she would lean down to assist me.

I took a seat near to Shana but also where I could get a good view of Miss Jameson at her desk.

Shana stared up at the teacher and just nodded her head. She wanted to see how long she could keep her music going before she really got her upset. She exchanged glances with Jonathon who had stood up. She still had her headset on but turned down the volume slightly.

"Yeah, my name is Jonathon Sprague, I am 18 years old and I like to just hang out with my friends. There really isn't much about me but the fact that I travel to alot of schools because my parents move alot"

At anyrate, Dante had taken up a seat behind me and proceeded to annoy me like usual.

"Hey, how ya been? Things going well? So does class start soon? I think my watch was a bit off or some shit if there's only two other people." Shana ignored him with a smile on her face and giggled as he got up to butter the teacher.

"Ms. Jameson, you're looking nice today. I meant to bring you an apple today, but I got hungry on my way to school."

Shana rolled her eyes but the Ms. Jameson once again told her to take her headset off, so she did.

"Thank you...now, can you all turn to page 32 and today's poem..."

Miss Jameson

"I forgot my book today Ms. Jameson, do you have an extra copy I could use?"

Sighing, Suzannah hopped down off the desk and carried a spare book over to Dante.
"Here you go...but please remember your own next time...please..." Her smile didn't fade as she looked down at him, taking the book from her. Her gaze flicking to Chris who had also just come in, raising an eyebrow slightly. But all done light heartedly. She knew being grumpy with these kids would only make them less likely to listen to her at all so she chose to just 'grin and bear it'.
Wandering back to the front, her hips swaying slightly in the heels.
"Ok...who would like to read this morning...?" She smiled, knowing that instantly all eyes would be fixed on the floor and on the desks. None of them really enjoyed reading in front of the others.

::His eyes were looking around the classroom as she brought a book for Dante who seemed to forget his, she then asked if anyone would like to read and he looked around noticing no one volunteering for this task. Figuring he can get in good with the teacher, he would raise his hand and stand up with the book in his hand and make his way to the front of the class next to the teacher. Looking down at the page as he would begin to read the poem that she wanted them to read and when he finished he would look to the teacher and smile to her before returning back to his seat::

Dante opened his book, looking for the right page as he studied this semester's class. Not a bad looking bunch, even if most of them look like they walked straight out of a J. Crew catalogue he thought to himself. He yawned loudly as the new kid raised his hand to volunteer to read. Something was slightly off about this guy Dante thought, but oh well, who was he to judge. He ran his fingers through his hair tiredly as he listened to the kid read his poem. Something about a road less travelled or something. He raised his hand. "Ms. Jameson are we going to read any works by people of color or females this term or is it just going to be more of the same white male canonical texts that have oppressed people of color and women for generations in public schooling?" He asked half-jokingly, just trying to make class interesting for him.

Chris

I watched the new kid Jonathon read a poem from a book. He was next to Miss Jameson so it gave me a good opportunity to stare at her without being noticed.

I didn't really hear much of what he said. My attention was elsewhere. Poetry was not my strong point anyway.

((OOC:Sorry, stuffs in R/L distracting me...feel free to post around Miss Jameson and I'll join in when I can... )

Johnson strolled into his classroom carrying two binders which contained his lesson plans for the week. He sat down at the desk and started going over them.

(OOC: Just to get my name into the thread ;) )

OOC Sorry i'm a bit late doing my post, was out and only got back just a while ago.

Andrew put on his glasses and turned to the page Miss Jameson said to read from. He sighed to himself as he read the poem,it was bad enough being the kid that just moved here from another school he had to were his glasses in class too.He read silently taking in what the poem was about, the last few days had been busy adjusting to his new surrondings,if he hadn't made the school soccer team recently he would really be lost.He listened as someone read the poem out,his mind drifted to after school when the team would have it's first full practice in preperation for the game that Saturday.Andrew looked around the class taking note of everyone in the room, his mom said that he should try to get to know a few of his new classmates soon to help make things easier on him.
