female

Dannie Lynn was tired of the abuse her boyfriend put her through deciding she was to young to deal with it all she ran, knowing he would look for her she changed her name her looks everything about her, and was scarred afraid of men among other things... but mostly men. She moved from Alambamba to New york City she was a small town girl in a big city. Looking for a long detailed role with this. Changing her long brown hair to a blond and her dark green eyes to blue changing her body and her name to Frankie no longer going by Dannie Lynn.

Malcolm
27
male

Malcolm was a cop that was working the beat this day. He had been called in to check on a disturbance in a diner down on the corner. He found that there was a young lady there that wasn't able to pay her bill. She was crying and he couldn't help himself, so he went up and talked to the manager and paid her bill. He then had to do his job tho, and took her downtown to find out about this obvious run-away. Once they were at the precinct, and at his desk, with coffee for both of them, he had took out a legal pad and a pen and started talking. "Now why don't you tell me your name ma'am, and we can figure out what we're going to do with you." He looked at her with a look of caring but one that wouldn't take any bull shit either.

Dannie Lynn

Dannie known as Frankie couldn't believe this she was so upset and her eyes were red from crying she would have paid but it took all of her money to rent the small room she rented and to get to New York City.. until she landed a job. She had her long blond hair tied back and was wearing a thin blue dress to her knees. ''I.. my name is Frankie.'' She said but saying nothing else, she definantly turned her face away from him.

Malcolm smiled lightly at Frankie. "Don't worry Frankie, your not in trouble, I just wanted to make sure that everything was all right, and that you had a place to stay, and some money also so that you can get through here in New York. I have seen a lot of young men and women who have come here either for fame on broadway, or to get away from home that haven't made it because of different reasons. Is there anything that I can do to help you." Malcolm was a 4th generation New Yorker who's family came from Italy almost 80 years ago.

Dannie Lynn

Dannie looked at him rather confused, she heard New york cops weren't like back home, she wondered if he picked up on her small town accent. She didn't smile or barely did she blink she didn't let her eyes off him, she was a rather handsome man, but Frankie had been scarred and she was sure no man could keep her safe ever again. ''I'll have money, and yes I have a place to stay I am not some hood.'' She said rather hasty.

"I never said you were some hood Frankie. All I was asking was out of concern. If you need any help with anything, please let me know. Now as for now let me help you out, call it a loan til you get on your feet." He pulled out his wallet and looked inside it before making a decision. He pulled out a box from his desk, and found what he was looking for. He opened it, and took out around 6 50 dollar bills, then added 3 20's from his own wallet. "Take this, and call it a loan. I am not taking no for an answer, and don't think that I am doing this just to get into your pants, I would do this for anyone down on their luck, or in need." He handed it to her with a no nosense look. He then closed the petty cash box that he kept in his desk for this type of thing, it wasn't precinct money, it was his own. and put it away in his desk then looked at her with a smile.

Dannie Lynn

Dannie listened as this man spoke.. she didn't trust him to say the least nor did she expect herself to, sure he was nice nad gotten her out a jam, but Dannie normally wouldn't steal she just needed something to eat.. but trying to run on the check bad idea. ''I am not going to take your money.. if you really want to help me, tell me where I can find a decent job.'' She said annoyed although he wasn't taking no for a answer. ''Fine whatever but your getting every penny back as soon as I get a job.'' She said anger glaring in her now blue eyes. ''Why are you helping me anyway? You don't even know me.'' She said in her rich southern tone.

Malcolm just smiled and nodded. He handed her a card. "Call this place up tomorrow, and tell them Mac sent you, they will help you get a job quickly, and I also expect you to pay me back every penny eventually. Not with your first check, but once you have some saved up, and can afford it. As for why I'm helping you, it's just the way I am. I help people out, I'm not someone to fear, I can be a life savior in a town like this."

Dannie Lynn

Dannie took the card but didn't get to close, and he had noticed it but hadn't said anything about it. ''Thank-you.'' She mumbled. ''I would rather pay you sooner than later.'' she said carefully and looked at him as if to say and no I will not change my mind on this one. ''I do however appreciate your kindness, but know this I cannot or will not say that I trust you.'' She said in a tough girl attitude.

"That's the attitude to have in this town Frankie, just remember to not have it with people trying to be your friends." He smiled at her and then thought a second. "Can I offer you a ride home at least, or at least show you out so you don't get lost. The ride doesn't even have to be with me, I can get one of the female officers to give you one home." He made it look like he understood that she didn't trust men for some reason, even tho he didn't know why.

Dannie Lynn

Dannie looked at him still bewildered at his kindness. ''If you've been where I've been you wouldn't want friends.'' She said and looked away from him. ''I would like a ride with one of the female officers, that would be appreciated.'' She didn't like being so mean or sounding so mean but she had no choice its what the girl was used to after all, but she looked sweet and talked sweet. ''Just know this I at least respect what your doing for me, and normally I don't take handouts from anyone.. but your insiting so you leave me no choice.'' She said breaking a half smile.

:You know you have a beautiful smile, you should let it show more often. Here's my card if you ever need anything, or get into any kind of trouble where you can't get out of it." He handed her the card, and then asked one of the female officers to take her home. He didn't know why but he was pretty sure that he would see her again, but didn't know when or where. He shrugged and went back to doing his paperwork that had piled up on his desk

Dannie looked at him and shook her head. ''If your tring to flatter me it won't work.'' She said and this time she didn't smile any. She took a long deep breath and took the card placing it in her small purse as he led her out of his office and asked a female officer to take her home. She told the lady where she lived and he had overheard, she lived in one of the rougher spots in New york. ''Thanks again..'' She said before leaving the presinct.

"Your welcome Frankie." He didn't like where she lived, there were gangs and the stuff there. He decided to follow her home, just to make sure that she didn't get mugged, and have her money taken. It wouldn't do for someone who needed it to lose it right away.

Dannie Lynn

It was odd at times hearing people call her Frankie she didn't know anyone here so when someone she met and told her name to called her Frankie she would often forget... but she remembered her crazy ex boyfriend, and the things he put her through and nodded her head. ''Thanks for the reference.'' She said as she walked to the police womans car quietly.

The police woman smiled and nodded. "If you ever need any help, he's the man to help you out around here. Be careful where you live, that is one bad neighborhood." She gave her a little friendly advice along with the ride home.

Dannie lynn

dannie looked at the woman as she gave her a kind smile so she smiled back. ''Thank-you, for taking me, and trust me I am very careful.'' She said thoughtfully as the woman pulled up to her tiny one room apartment.

"Still Mac would kill me if I let you go up there from the car alone. He doesn't like this neighborhood, and neither do any of the cops. We have seen to much senseless violence around here." She knew that once Mac had heard where she lived, that he would have followed them to make sure that the young lady made it all right. She was thankful herself, for she was one of Macs earlier saves, and she came to the police force because of him.

Dannie Lynn

''You can walk me if that would make you feel better.'' She said softly and smiled for once a softer smile than before. ''I am sorry if I was rude to you I did not mean to be in any sense of the matter.'' She said smiling once again. ''I appreciate you bringing me home.'' She said as she went to grab the handle of the police car, maybe now she wouldn't be so afraid to come home, due to a officer dropping her off.

"Don't worry about it, you will be ok now." She walked her up to her apartment, making sure that their weren't any unsavory types hanging around to attack her. "You should be ok once you get into your apartment, I wouldn't keep the door unlocked tho, you never know with this neighborhood."

Dannie Lynn

Dannie followed the police woman up to her small apartment and looked at her with appreciation. ''Thank-you again.'' She said getting the key out for her door and opening it. ''I never leave it unlocked.'' She said witha bright smile.
