yeah, I thought that might get your attention. I wasn't sure where to put this thread, but the majority of you on this board appear alot more sane...then say, the GB.

So, it's been said that lots of sex can bring about labor and the birth of your baby (after you're already pregnant, duh...)

Oh and yes it's true that many women get extremely lusty during pregnancy...

*blushing*

anyway... ummm the sex thing isn't really working here, (not on the lack of the husband's eager attention) it's very hard to get comfy...anyway, after several failed attempts I took matters into my own hands.

Only instead of having one of those wonderful orgasms... it seemed my whole abdomen contracted somewhat painfully and I stopped breathing for a few seconds. Luckily, I had a dr.s appt the next day. I mentioned this event to the doctor, THE BABY IS FINE! but she doesn't seem to know what happened. umm or i didn't explain it well... Now, I'm horny, but I don't want to stop breathing or hurt the baby...

did I lose my ability to come?

Fear of something happening is going to be your worst enemy in getting there now.

Having hubby there might help overcome the fear aspect. Can you take matters into your own hands with him around? Likewise, can he deal with that? Or maybe he can take over as the hands?

Regardless, having someone there might take away enough of the fear to get back to dealing with the uncomfortable part.

It could have been something as simple as your womb and muscles contracting in preparation for the fireworks, prompting a certain little someone to protest all the movement with a well-placed, ill-timed kick.

Been there, seen that.

It's common and nothing to get worried about. You will not stop breathing or hurt the baby,

There are constant hormone swings during pregnancy. Your body will react differently, sometimes. It can be unpredictable, but if the Dr. is not worried about your blood pressure or early labor, just get plenty of rest and tomorrow you will feel completely different.

I loved masturbating during both pregnancies, couldn't get enough. And sex. And spankings and floggings. Even when I was at my heaviest and couldn't find any comfortable way to sit, stand, or lay down-- those orgasms just kept coming...

So to speak. :)

Somehow, I find this fascinating. It doesn't quite reconcile with my perceptions of you. :rose:

There are times when I can feel quite envious of the modern, happily-married man. My missus, when pregnant, went off sex completely; the desire for orgasms was not noted.

Did I wander into GENERAL HOSPITAL? Dont see any MDs I know.

thank you for the support ladies and gentlemen! I have resigned myself to not trying to get off...so to speak until after the baby is here. I just have too much frustration, and why have sex if I'm not getting the pleasure out of it?

I am not being selfish here, I am still seeing to my husbands needs. But It would be nice to just...y'know.
