London, and relocating in the land of his youth!

I first came to London at the end of a Jubilee Year, so perhaps it's appropriate that I leave now at the beginning of the 50th. Quitting the cosy confines of Wormwood Scrubs for the Wild West of Ireland, to help care for an Aged P. Good-bye clickity-clack of Central Line, hello splish-splash of the Mutinous Shannon. God & St. Servais, protect Stab City--there's one more rat on the way.

As such, I will be incommunicado for a while--don't know how long it will take to get a phone line from Eircom. And for the next few days I need to download and print lots of Lit for the crossing.

Good Luck Scabbers!
I have to move about twice a year and I feel for shame. At least you are closer to Scotland now (I think) muuuuaaahahhhhhhhhh!!

NO!!

Awwwww...babe...

Can't just up and leave me!!!:D

Whatever will I do?? and do it with?????

Be safe, pick well, from lit, hope your sea crossing is not so swell but is calm and well :)
Take care and come back to us when you can.

Good Luck Scabbers, I don't envy you - moving is soooo much fun.

Good luck Scabbers! My ancestors came from Tuam, just north of Galway, in the wild west of Ireland!

good luck on your travels scabbers be sure to pop in again when you can

Shit, for a minute I thought you were leaving completely!

Good luck with the move. I hope you and your luggage end up in the same part of Ireland!

Look forward to you posting again.

Ireland, that's refreshing like the scent of a cool spring shower. Behave if you can and good luck on the move.

Thank you all, girls and boys

Lil' Dev, I think in miles perhaps farther, but in sentiment, well Celtic Fringe and all.

Cass, like DugOutDoug said, "I shall return."

DebXXX, thanx--I've found that if I just stay away from the pasties, I can handle most seas.

Hammer, "Cool spring shower"--jaysis help me, if there's any place rainier, I've found it.

bluespoke--me too, I'm sure it will eventually, but I'll have to relearn the Irish sense of timing.

plasticman, come for a visit next time.

Bindii, donna & Myst, thanx.

(The above was a shameless bump for self-promotion purposes)

Scabbers,

Moving sucks! BUT, new surroundings often give us a chance at a deep breath and new perspective.

I wish you the best in Ireland, perhaps I can crash on your couch when I finally flip my lid and hop a plane to somewhere new.

Keep in touch when you return, rat bastard.

Well, you know how I'm going to feel about this:

1 - I'll miss you, be careful and get back online ASAP.

and

2 - I hate you! We both know that's my Ireland you're going home to. I'm dying of jealousy over here.

:D

Hey, I dont know you, but travel safe and well.

I loved Ireland whenI was there. Been a few years, and was only able to see the southern part, but what wonderfull southern parts she had!

And I know you from . . .?

Your Ireland, eh? Well, anytime you wanna come over here and wrestle me for, I'm ready.

thanx, rosie

Just poking my nose in to see what's what. Good to see you, too.

I should be going back this summer to visit family.

Meet me behind the Blarney Stone at 3:00 sharp.
