I'm not a real fan of snow removal, but I do enjoy playing in the snow.

We rarely get snow. Sometimes just an inch or three and it's usually gone within a few days. Three or four times that I can remember since I've lived here, we've gotten over 8 inches.

If I shovel at all, it's more for exercise than the need to clear. If I shovel my driveway, there's no probability the roads will be passable. I just stay home and wait for it to melt. We usually get back into the 40s (or higher) within a few days.

I was just thinking a long these lines. When did standards and expectations fall so low? When did it become a normal thing to expect so little. Its sad really.
