Let's have at least one bullshit-free thread. Make a statement that is utterly true. It can be about anything or anyone. Just say something that isn't a lie.

This thread is going to be full of people stating normal bullshit that nobody cares whether it's true or not. "I just took a shower!" "Vail is sooo sexy." Just calling it now.
There's my entry.
I'd suggest it be like a thing where someone volunteers to get asked a question and they have to answer it truthfully (as long as it wasn't too personal), but this is the Internet and everybody lies.
ok, how about this,
I stupidly made wrong decision after wrong decision, KNOWING that they were wrong decisions until I find myself coming home on Friday's after work and, quite possibly, not speaking to another human being for 60 hours and that, if I were to drop dead, it would likely be 5 or 6 days until my body was found.
Alright here's something:
I don't know how to swim.
Actually that sucks, too. No one cares about that.
Both these could be at risk of drowning. Learning to swim (including metaphorically) is important for the soul.
I spend the majority of my working day alone. (my true statement)
I think I'm at greater risk of my cats feasting upon my still warm corpse.

and THATS why I'm a dog person.![]()
Oh missy, fido will chomp upon you the moment he gets hungry enough![]()

It's my hope that you had low expectations with this thread, FF.
Here's one for you.
“Nothing defines humans better than their willingness to do irrational things in the pursuit of phenomenally unlikely payoffs. This is the principle behind lotteries, dating, and religion.”
That's something truthful.
You disagree with it. You don't resent it.
You resent that your thread concept was doomed to fail.
